Like it say "Darn Tough" and so far so good. Seems more durable than its competitors out there - and I've been through a lot of socks. Not too tight on my size 12 foot. Sometimes I find that on sizes 9 to 12, the 12 ends up being tight. Not here. And pretty durable so far ...

Best socks that money can buy. I only wear Darn Tough socks for day hikes, multi-day trips or in the gym. After owning a few pairs you will buy more.

I just bought 6 pair of these socks a month ago. Wish I had done this way sooner. Great merino wool socks! No smell after wearing all day, comfortable, and dry feet! Guaranteed for life too,and American made. Buy USA made products, and give somebody a job!

I have been wearing Darn Tough for years; I find these more comfortable that all the other major players in this field. I have different weights/types and these are my GoTo.

I bought a pair of the Darn Tough Hiker socks for my husband and one for myself. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. We had other hiking socks and thought these would be the same. They are not, they are so much better. We have replaced our hikers and most of our normal socks with these. He wears these to hike, bike, and to work. They are warm and comfortable. They dry quickly and are nicely cushioned. They are definitely worth it.

Darn Tough Hiker Boot Socks are the only socks I wear. After 6 years with 8 pairs of old ones which became thread bare next to my bunions, I took Darn Tough up on their warranty (which by the way, they have already honored without any hassle). I ordered these to have socks to wear while the old ones were shipped out for the warranty. From hiking boots to everyday wear, these are amazing socks.

I have numerous pairs of these socks because they are what I prefer to wear all through fall and winter. The full boot length and extra warmth from the full cushion do make them a bit much for the warmer months, but they are amazing when things get cooler. Just like the rest of the Darn Tough lineup, they are made to ridiculous quality standards and include that bulletproof lifetime guarantee. The merino wool performs amazingly well to regulate temperature through a wide range of conditions, while also keeping your feet dry and resisting odors. Unlike many other wool products, there can be washed and dried in your machines without shrinkage and they hold up incredibly well. The full cushion also serves to protect your feet from blisters quite well. The bottom line is that these are hands down my favorite socks for the colder months, whether I'm hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, or walking around in my house with slippers on. Best socks ever!!!

These are definitely Darn Tough. They are made so dang well. they are extremely comfortable and for me had no issues with chaffing or hot spots and bunching up. seams are flat and unnoticed!
