I think this will be my fourth pair of Danner 6" bull run wedge sole. They become like perfectly molded work slippers. I can walk all day in them better than other boots. These boots help you work FAST! and comfortably. Danner's are my all-time favorite boots. I have very narrow feet.

Great Boot Except For The Tongue

The tongue is thin with no padding and it refuses to lay flat & smooth. Instead, it wrinkles and forms folds that put uncomfortable pressure on the tendons under the surface of my instep. This is probably caused by my flat feet that virtually have no arch. I would have returned the boots, but they were so comfortable otherwise that I decided to keep them and use my thickest socks to mitigate problems with the tongue.

Bull Run Is Very Good On The Body

These are my third pair and there will be a fourth in 4-5 years. I work on cement and on hard defaces all day. These don't create issues with joint over the long run in about 2 years wearing every day I replace the insert with new to keep the performance at a high level. The leather is great in wet conditions your feet stay dry, they are built to last.

I Wish I Had Tried These Years Ago.

I love these boots. Everyone who works on concrete all day needs this sole. I wish I had tried these years ago. Break in is brutal because the leather is tough and stiff but that is what you need for work boots. Carry some band aids for blisters your first week. I’ve worn mine for one week and they are really starting to feel good.
