I decided to try the new Fuego Max because I love my older version which still gives me plenty of wear. It was on sale so I took the plunge and I’m so glad I did. It’s very light so I was a bit unsure about it but the extra warmth is very noticeable on very cold mornings. Worth the money so if you’re thinking about buying one don’t hesitate! I love it enough that I have just purchased another one (on sale of course) 😁. I’m 5ft 3”, weight 105lbs and the XS is perfect. It’s not fitted and there’s room to put a thicker top underneath if you are in very, very cold conditions. I wore it this morning with a light fleece top underneath in -5C and I was toasty and warm.

This is a beautiful, lightweight, warm coat that will last for years. I purchased an XS and wish there was an XXS option. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars. New colors are so beautiful. Please make more pink and red combos. It’s nice to have happy colors in dreadful winter.

I purchased a Fuego max a few years ago which I loved. Lost a lot of weight so wanted a new one. Would have preferred some more color choices but ended with black. It doesn’t seem as puffy as my first one. Needs some tabs to secure cuffs. Nice pockets inside and out. I’ll let you know how it holds up to the cold in a few months.

Really nice good looking jacket only down side if you have long arms it’s a little short other then that it’s perfect. The purple color is really nice.

My husband and I both bought the same version of this jacket. We both have the Fuego and love it. But we are headed to Antarctica and felt we needed something just a little warmer. But we both carry on versus checking our luggage, so we wanted something super packable. We did a lot of research before settling on this jacket for both of us. We are very happy. We have not taken the trip yet, but we have no doubt it’ll keep us warmer than the Fuego, it is almost as compact when stuffed into the sack. It seems to be the perfect coat for what we were looking for. And it fits very nicely both my women’s version and his men’s version.

Love the look of this jacket. Great color-way. Very cozy and kept my wife warm while camping at elevation. Wish it was a bit lighter material so it packed down a bit more but as a trade off, it’s probably going to be more durable than an ultralight jacket. I was able to get it in a 3L stuff sack so it does pack ok. Size seems to run a bit large which is primarily why I gave 4 vs 5 stars.

Somehow this coat weighs nothing, but is also the warmest coat I’ve ever owned. As a person who hates to be cold, this coat makes winter comfortable! Also, if you’re someone who has to travel from cold climates to warm climates, this coat packs up so small that it’s easy to be comfortable everywhere you go. I cannot say enough good things about the Fuego. If you’re on the fence, buy it!
