I’ve been using sun hoodies from the beginning of sun hoodies. As a ginger who is trying to avoid skin cancer and loves all things outdoors in the Colorado sun, This is all I wear all summer. I had been using the tropical two comforts from Patagonia for years and will still say it’s a good sun hoodie, but after getting these sun hoodies from cotopaxi, I have a new favorite They’re well designed. I really dig the thumb holes and the small pocket and they feel nice and breezy. After trying them on I couldn’t just have one! Pro tip size up, you want these to be loose it makes them feel cooler.

What a nice piece of clothing, the trim, light weight, with a hoodie, a great reminder of a wonderful overseas holiday. I enjoy wearing it in the national park and at the gym.

I participated in an adventure race 20 years ago and we all got a new balance shirt with this awesome moisture wicking material. Could never find another shirt with similar material. Till I bought Sombra. Favorite lightweight material. The fact that it is sun shading (unlike the new balance) brings it up another layer of awesomeness!

I wore this on a long day hike in the sun. The full sleeves and hoodie combo was really great. I couldn't feel the sun and the material was so thin and breathable that I didn't feel warm either.

This is my favorite shirt. I have 5 different colors. It is the most comfortable shirt, keeps the sun off, and fits loose but still very fitted at the same time.

I'm 5'5' 155 and I bought a large. I like my shirts to be roomy with the arms longer so I can use the thumb holes. It's the perfect material for a sun shirt plus a hood and a secret pocket!

Cotopaxi is known for quality materials, colors, sustainability, and good value. The Sombra Sun Hoodie is a lightweight, excellent-fitting top that has its own colorful storage pouch. It's an excellent value and a hoodie you'll wear over and over.

Just bought my 2nd and 3rd of these after a year of using the first one I purchased (first one holding up well). I recommend highly. Has served me well from a Mt. Whitney summit to all day summer beach days. Much lighter and airier than its merino competitors, especially if any humidity is involved. Only con, it does smell bad in the armpits after a single use, regardless of deodorant use.
