I recently bought the Cielo Rain Parka for women for myself and loved it so much. My husband admired it too, and so for Fathers Day, I ordered him one, only to discover the men’s version is missing several of the features that makes the women’s version such a winner. First, the men’s version has no vent across the back, to let moisture escape. Second, the men’s version does not have a double headed zipper, so it can be unzipped either from the bottom or the top, as the women’s has. Third, the men’s does not have the attractive contrast zipper color that is so stylish on the women’s jacket, opting instead for a placket with annoying Velcro. In short, the men’s parka is really nothing special. Too bad they didn’t repeat the neat features from the women’s version.

I got it without noticing it was for men. Actually it fits me very well. I like how simple but elegant it looks and functional as well. It can be packed in a small size. Overall, I like this coat.

The jacket fits smaller than the Cielo rain jacket. It’s tight aroubd the shoulders and armpit so you won't be able to wear a sweater or thicker clothing underneath.

Haven't had it out in the rain yet, but it looks like a very quality-built rain jacket. I wanted a jacket that was longer to protect more of my trousers and this fits the bill. Only minor comment is on the placement of the velcro on the wrist enclosures. It doesn't allow it to be tightened around my wrist enough without having a large flap overhang.

The jacket is nice aesthetically but as other reviews suggested the quality just isn’t leather. Poorly constructed zippers and Velcro.

Very nice! I love the lightweight fabric, feel and appearance but arm length just a little too short. I ordered the XL which fits well other than the arms.

Lightweight and water proof, this parka is just what I need in the Pacific Northwest. I like to fish and the longer length of this coat is great for keeping you dry even when you need to sit on something wet.

Love it! Made very well and love the functionality of the jacket. The hood fits very well with the draw string on the back and the hood covers my entire head and neck. Going to Peru during the rainy season so I will be putting it to good use.
