This bag has completely changed how I travel. The clamshell opening is the best part, being able to lay it flat and see everything at once beats digging through a top-loading backpack every time. Build quality is excellent. The material feels tough enough to handle rough handling at airports, and the zippers are lockable, which is a nice peace-of-mind touch. It’s carry-on sized but still fits a surprising amount for a longer trip. The hip belt and back panel make it comfortable enough for actual walking, not just quick trips through an airport. Straps tuck away easily when you need to check it or want a cleaner look. Cotopaxi’s colorways are also a fun bonus. Mine doesn’t look like every other black or gray bag at baggage claim. Overall, a great one-bag travel setup for anyone who wants to pack light but still have room for what they need!

It’s the best of both worlds, light and super easy to carry but designed to let you access what you want without emptying the whole bag. Superior design with zippered compartments and storage. Fits everything I need for a 10 day in Peru from Lima to the Amazon, plus getting on and off planes and trains and buses will be so much easier with the Allpa 42L Travel Pack and my 20L day pack. It’s my new favorite way to see the world.

The 42 L bag is great for week long travel trips. You can fit a lot in the bag and it is easy to maneuver through the airport with it on your back.

No longer have to use rolling carry-on. Everything is need is packed in this bag. Love the versatility of space, comfort (although can be heavy if fully packed), and multi-use. I purchased the all-black version. I am a travel junkie as I travel a lot for work and personal. This bag has been my go-to. Chose this after researching/comparing versus Nomatic and Pakt.

I absolutely love the Allpa 42L Travel Pack – Del Día Dark! I'm usually an overpacker and have always struggled to find one bag that could hold everything I need for trips lasting two weeks or less. This backpack completely changed that for me. I put it to the test as soon as it arrived on a marine science backpacking trip through Florida and along the Gulf Coast. I was able to pack 12 days' worth of clothes, field gear, toiletries, and other essentials with room to spare. The compartments are incredibly spacious and make it easy to stay organized, and the zippers are some of the sturdiest I've ever used. The bag feels well-built and durable enough to handle frequent travel and outdoor adventures. My only disappointment is that the matching fanny packs were sold out when I purchased my travel pack. Overall, I highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a durable, organized, and surprisingly roomy travel bag. It's made packing so much easier, especially for longer trips where you want to travel with just one bag.

bought this bag because i have a normal cotopaxi backpack and love it! i brought both to europe with 3 weeks of clothes and belongs in the 42L and it has been great! also perfect carry on size even when stuffed!

Love this pack! I bought it at the airport in Denver airport and Love it so much I bought my husband one quickly after. We travel a lot for work, so this pack is big enough to pack for a 2 week rotation. It is comfortable and durable!

Used this bag for a 4 day work trip so far. I always used a 32 liter ski mountaineering pack for plane travel before, but I need to travel with a 17” workspace laptop now so I needed the larger suitcase style. I wanted a pack that equally conveyed my outdoor lifestyle. Chat said my large HP laptop wouldn’t fit, but I brought it to the store and it fit like a glove, I even chose to gate check the bag on a small jet with no laptop damage or issues. Excellent organization for work or play. If you pack it realistically the 42 will carry on anywhere but if you pack it like an animal you might get caught at the gate.

I've been so used to a top loading travel backpack made more for outdoor usage, was so happy to discover this pack. Perfect for the backpacker on the go, city to city, hidden spot to hidden spot. Even lets you have the flexibility of a digital nomad with a quick access and padded electronics pouch.
