Finally Did It

I’ve been wanting one for awhile since I travel a lot for short trips with work. It’s perfect for a few days getaway and definitely keeps it more organized than my previous bag. No regrets here!

Allpa 42l Rocks!

I feel like this is the best piece of luggage for travel I have ever bought. Love the how you can open the pack up and the organization of the pockets. Love the easy access to my computer and it still fits under the seat on a plane. Now I just need to get Cotopaxi’s roller bag!

Bad Structure

Due to a design flaw in the backpack's structure, the right side lacks sufficient fabric allowance. This leaves that section of the zipper exceptionally tight compared to the rest of the bag, making it difficult to pack properly on that side. More importantly, this creates excessive tension along that part of the zipper, making it very likely that the fabric will tear or the zipper will break over time. It is disappointing for a travel-oriented backpack—especially one past its first generation—where this type of structural design issue should have already been addressed.

Wife Loves It

My wife wanted this bag for a year, when we finally got it she couldn’t be happier. The zips are all high quality, and the material itself feels and looks really sturdy. We haven’t traveled with it yet but it seems more sturdy than a competitors bag we have at home and that one is pretty good

I absolutely love this pack, it has enough room for everything I need for a quick trip. It is well made and high quality.

Skin Peels Off

I love the organisation but it’s not durable. Skin peel is real 😭 and no international warranty

It Struggles To Zip Up Half Full

There’s a pinch in the stitching that has made this bag such a pain while traveling. It won’t zip up even half full without a forceful struggle. Eventually it’s going to rip. It’s right in the middle near the zipper. Not sure if all bags are like this. But for the price of this bag, it makes me feel as if I was ripped off. The colors are cool, that’s about it.

Pack For A Week!

I bought this hoping I could really pack enough clothes for a week and you can! Once it was full it was comfortable, contained everything neatly abd easy to carry. My only concern would be using it as a carry on on some of the smaller airlines that make you measure or weigh the carry on. It’s quite solid when full. Other than that for like road trip where that isn’t an issue, this bag will be great!

perfect size for bringing everything + a bit more for long weekend trips. love the pockets, but hoping the side pocket is tighter/more slip proof and wish the zippers are smoother

I’ve been wanting a Cotopaxi travel pack for ever and I should’ve done it a long time ago because this is a traveling game changer. Perfect size whether you’re going away for a long weekend or pairing it with the Elqui 18L daypack for traveling abroad. Does not hurt the shoulders (and I fill that bad boy up lol). Allpa 42l

Took my allpa to the oregon coast for a quick trip (thursday-sunday) I am 6 foot 1 inch and about 260 lbs. So i wear about a XXL in all of my clothing and at the coast i brought with me hoodies, sweaters, and crew necks. As well as sweats and long pants. I was doubtful that it would all fit but it did! Everything worked and it was amazing to me how many nooks and crannies that the bag was able to have!

Alpa 42l Bag

Purchased this bag for my trip to walk the Camino in Spain. Just home and the bag was AWESOME!!! Bought it on my son's recommendation and I was not disappointed. The bag is a great size, has just the right amount of compartments for organizing, adjustable shoulder and hip straps that can be stored easily inside bag when not in use (when checking bag for flights), three separate handles for easy transport when not using shoulder/hip option and most importantly for a chronic overpacker - super strong zippers and stitching to hold it all together!! The bag took a pretty good beating (all cosmetic, no damage) during transport and got quite dirty, but it held up well and a little spot cleaning should do the trick to spiff it back up. I would highly recommend this bag for the action adventure traveler looking for something between a true "backpacking" pack and a suitcase.

Best Travel Backpack

I’ve already got myself a 35l Cotopaxi backpack and I love it!! I recently got my husband the 42l and he can’t wait to use it for our trips :)
