Cotopaxi Is Always The Way To Go!
This is my second Allpa 35L. I wanted to get another because the newer version has a water bottle pocket. It's the best bag I've ever traveled with. I use it for 2 day trips and 6 week trips. I've told so many other people to get this bag. I would imagine at least 10 others have purchased it with my recommendation. I'd say the only downside to the Del Día Dark is that the black shows a little more dirt.

Bag Made For Use
This bag is made for use. I love how there are different compartments. I even compare it to my wife’s bag and it seems that she has to many compartments. Where on one side of my bag bag I have one big compartment. It will be the perfect size for carryon for flying or taking on the road or on the trail. I can not wait to use it.

What I've Been Looking For!
I've been considering purchasing this bag for a LONG time. I'd also been wavering between the 35L and the 42L. Being a small/average sized woman (5'5 + 140lbs) I decided that the 42L would be comically large on me, so I went with the 35L; once I tried it on (without anything packed into it) I was glad I went with the smaller size. I really love the colors and it's so awesome to know that I have a bag that is "doing good" per the cotopaxi motto and is also totally unique! I purchased this bag with the intention that it would be able to be a personal item and would replace the need for a roller bag on 3-5 day trips. I haven't used it for travel yet, just received it in the mail this week, but I think it will fulfill my intentions! I really like the organization and layout of this bag, including the fact that it has hip straps, so many handles, and a luggage pass through. I also love that the laptop compartment also has a sleeve within it for a tablet - will be really great when I am traveling with both my laptop and my iPad mini (though I think the sleeve could also fit a regular iPad). I have chronic pain and severe back/neck issues, so the hip straps were something I really needed that my current travel backpack doesn't have. Even if I am not using this as my one and only bag, the hip straps will really help to make carrying the bag more comfortable and reduce the risk of having a pain flareup. The current travel backpack I have (bagsmart brand) also opens suitcase style, but it does so vertically/longways vs horizontally/side-by-side like this bag. Shockingly, this makes a huge difference in the functionality of the bag! I can't fully explain why, but the entire bag feels much more structurally stable when it's packed full on this bag vs my other bag. I'm very excited to use this bag the next time I travel!
