Comfy. Love that it has front and back pockets, and the back pockets zip shut! I didn't love the available patterns, but everything else was right so I settled.

I love these shorts! I am 5’6” and weigh 120 lbs, I’m 60 years old and want shorts that are on the longer side but not bermudas, these fit the bill. I bought them in Medium, and the drawstring waist makes them fit perfectly. They are lightweight and comfortable, with deep front pockets that hold your stuff without worrying it’s going to fall out. The only issue I have with them is after wearing them 4 or 5 times the zipper on the back pocket has come unstitched from the shorts. The pocket is the perfect size for my iPhone SE but I will no longer store my credit card or license there as the unstitched zipper will allow smaller items to fall out.

Nice shorts, beachy colors. I ordered because my size was not in stock. I'm glad the size was like other Columbia shorts.

Absolutely love these shots. I know they’re for water activities but I wear them to run errands too because they keep me cool! I purchased an XL because I like to be comfortable but I think a size L would have been ok, considering I don’t have much in my trunk I would have had plenty of room. I like they have a 5” inseam because I’m a grandma and I do a lot of bending over and it makes a big difference in having those two extra inches, but they don’t look long either. ( 5’1)Purchased the blue w/fish, blue and berry colored shorts, the berry (purple) are my favorite!

I bought these shorts to go kayaking in, and they're great! Fun color, fabric is comfortable and not stiff, and having three pockets (including one that zips shut) is perfecto!

I purchased 2 pairs of the Columbia Backcast 5" shorts for paddle boarding and kayaking! They fit great and are fantastic for my watersport activities!!! I just bought 2 more pairs!

I bought them thinking they were men’s swim trunks. Realized there are women’s just now when I read the email. Will probably keep them.
