I was skeptical about how they'd fit. I wear size L/XL. Purchased XL and fell in love.. If I squat or bend over, my bootay doesn't show! Wide hips, 5', 170lbs and looking great!.

So Fun
I have gotten so many compliments on these retro pants. They’re great for humid rainy days as they expel water but don’t have interior lining so they aren’t hot to wear. They have awesome vintage colors and lots of pockets.

Not True To Size And See Through
Not true to size and pink is see through, like others have said. My hip circumference is 49.5in and I ordered the XL because I am currently in between size 14 and 16 with 14 being excessively tight and 16 being a bit large. The XL was so tight on my thighs that there was no way I could ever put anything in the pockets without stabbing into me but the fit otherwise was good. So I returned the XL and I ordered the XXL and while none of the Columbia pants sized XXL would ever fit me because they are too large for me these pants run small so the XXL was a better fit. While the fit is overly larger on me I can at least now fully articulate the knees, thighs, and I have enough room to wear a base layer under neath in the colder months. As for the see through bit.. i am still undecided if this is a deal breaker or not.

Cool Colors - But See-through
I got these in the lighter pinkish color. I love the color theme, even though usually I don’t like pink or buy it. This is more like a coral pink so I can get behind it.
These are COMPLETELY see through if you wear underwear that’s not the no-see skin colored kind. Just a heads up. I opted to still keep them but that was low key a little disappointing. I’m 5’6 140lb athletic build and medium fits great.
They don’t have stretch in the material but the waist band does stretch and has a string.
