I needed a Gaiter for a trip and I have tried several. I got this one because they had an XL size. I'm a pretty big guy and all others seem too tight. This one worked perfectly. It was just the right size and stayed up well. This was exactly what I was looking for! I also liked the light-weight material. Very breathable.

I purchased this product two weeks ago because I just had surgery on my neck and was told by the surgeon to shield the scar from the sun. I washed the neck gaiter and when I removed it from the washing machine the first thing I saw was a 1.5 inch section of the top seam was completely torn away from the main part of the gaiter. Being a platinum member I have purchased many items from Columbia but I have to say I have never been so thoroughly disappointed in Columbia product.

Wore it 20 times saltwater fishing last year, and the vent holes and the hem stitching are at the end of their life. Otherwise the L/XL fit is excellent to go over a hat and around sunglasses.

These are a lifesaver, as a coach who is subjected to the sun's harmful rays, and of course I get hot and sweaty. These have saved me so much. Dipped in a Lil ice water around the neck and just feel the cooling technology go to work. I mean just putting them on makes you cooler. The cool thing about ths deflector is it feels like a lizard skin around your neck. Gotta have them if your a warm blood and run hot.

I just received my Freezer Zero II Neck Gaiter. I was expecting it to be all white on the outside but the blue rings are noticable. I purchased the L/XL and it is a little loose but if I put it over my ears it won't drop down. A large would be a perfect fit for me. I'm 5'9" and 168 pounds. I will test it for comfort and cooling on my next bike ride.

Very comfy gaiter. It’s the dead of winter, so not sure how cooling this is, it breathes and fits well and will keep the sun off my face. I’d buy again in a heartbeat.

[Employee of columbia] Bought this to wear mostly for snowboarding, but also think it will be a great multi use product for other seasons. It does run a bit small/tight in the top opening, so if you're between sizes I might suggest sizing up.

The L/XL is too small and the gaiter does not stretch at all. Also, it does not feel breathable when wearing it.

The rating is low not because of the quality of the product, it is because of the site's failure to clearly explain how to choose a size for these neck gaiter; on the site there are only measures for: caps, gloves, underwear and socks. I chose S / M and it was very tight ... I am from another country, I cannot return it.

Very good material but I wish they just kept them the way they used to be. They have a longer length in the front and back similar to a dress shirt. I wish it was uniform across the neck like the old buffs. The mouth holes are nice to keep sunglasses from fogging up but allow dust and smoke in.

This white gator is everything advertised. The material is shear as to be light. Stuffing the nose area with T shirt material makes it okay for a Covid-19 face cover Maybe a different color would have been a better choice as my wife tells me it looks like I'm wearing her underwear. A good reason to not wear this when around other people. If not for this a 5 star rating.

Love this gaiter. I have 2 of them. Works great as a face mask for outdoor exercise, plus I love that it provides UPF protection. Very lightweight and comfortable. Highly recommend.
