Almost Perfect. Stylish Substantial Tech Shell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality shell. It’s thicker than the other jackets and the dwr survived 30 minutes is straight hard rain without wetting out and still beading up water. It’s very breathable and warm on its own, with a base layer you are golden. One grip is it can leak around the neck a little bit under hard rain. Haven’t figured out how to stop that.

Nice And Functional But Oversized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [for reference, I'm 5'9", 40" chest/33" waist, 172#] Originally purchased size M but was extremely(!) oversized in width and length. Re-bought size S and body/sleeves fit perfectly (aside from the powder skirt being too snug for my 33" waist). Supposed to be 'relaxed' fit but being a full size up isn't that! Haven't tested 20k/20k rating yet...will see during Spring skiing. Quality good: stitching, fabric; zippers need breaking-in to glide smoother. Styling: Wish it had...mesh upper interior to wick sweat, pocket key leash; Zipper pull cords scrawnier than past Columbia items making use with gloves/mitts difficult. While unzipped, the HUGE vertical logo on the neck gusset (isn't shown on the site) is a bit gaudy IMO.

Feels Great But Runs Large

I love the design and quality of the product. I’m 5’7” and ordered small but it’s the largest “small size” I’ve seen lol. It also long at the bottom. If they had extra small size, I’d definitely buy it. I’d recommend going down a size when buying it

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'10" 180 44-46 and the Medium fits perfectly. Love the snow skirt, full side zip, and pit zip. Hangs long enough to almost cover my butt. This is an outstanding anorak and is super warm with a couple layers. Highly recommend.

Excellent Ski Shell

Definitely go a size lower. I'm 6ft and even a medium fits a little big. I do enjoy the baggy oversized style so medium for me it's perfect. I can't imagine what it'll be like if I had ordered Large.
