Sizing Is Bizarre

I have the adult one and love it. The quality seems great and no hood seemed ideal. However, the bunting suit is a bizarre size. His weight for the size ordered is right and the length is right. Yet he is absolutely swimming in side the suite. The sleeve circumference alone would only make sense if layering over a big puffy suit, but when layering fleece it should be under a hard or soft shell type layer...so it doesn't make sense. I was hoping for a fit similar to regular 3-6 month onesies just thicker, so this isn't it.
