Good Design.its Ice Retention Performance Is Poor.

I’ve taken this cooler on two camping trips. While I really like the design and size, its performance fell far short of expectations. With a standard cooler, a single pack of ice usually lasts until the next day without fully melting, but the ice in this cooler melts so quickly that I have to buy and replenish it every day. I switched to this collapsible model because I lacked storage space at home—so I do appreciate the design and space efficiency—but if you have enough room at home and in your car, a standard cooler seems like a much better choice.

A Perfect Space-saving Solution!

We don’t have a lot of storage space for things like ice chests, so we tried this to see how it is. A fantastic invention! Would love to get a bigger one if there is ever one in development. A home run!

Design Good, Retention Not As Good

Great concept, love the space saving. Only used once so far but didn’t have nearly the ice retention we were expecting. We weren’t expecting 3 days like was claimed but within a day all ice was melted. Otherwise is a good product. We’ll be trying again in a few weeks so if we have better results I’ll update.

A Must Have Cooler

I absolutely love this cooler! I was skeptical at first that it wasn't going to be made well or held up to it's potential. But it's very well made, and exceeded my expectations. The waterproof liner inside the cooler - GENIUS. Lots of space, easy to carry and store. I did wish though that when collapsing the cooler, the closing mechanism would click and kept close. The slightest movement of lifting this cooler up to store, will open the cooler to expand.

Durable And Convenient

We used this for our July 4th celebration. It was very handy!! It kept our drinks cold all day and evening. I didn't test the length of time it could keep drinks cold, but it worked well for our get together of about 12 hours. The collapsible design is great for storing!

Love It

Took it to an outdoor festival for a week ! Was great for the long drive out and a great space saver on the way back!

I’m so impressed with the quality materials of this Coleman cooler. It holds a great amount of weight but stays compact when folded down. Very convenient storage feature for road trips!

This thing is amazing! I was carrying the same size regular ice chest in my trunk for a year due to I live in a rural area and I never know when I’ll be near any stores and I can stock up. The old ice chest always too up so much space. This ice chest just allows me to still utilize my trunk when the ice chest isn’t in use.

Need This Is Pink!

This is what I’ve been waiting on…because coolers are so bulky when not in use. This is perfect for us outdoorsy ladies! I want one so bad!!! Waiting for more colors to buy. I’d definitely buy if this was pink or purple or orange!

Love The Design!

When we travel on road trips, we always pack a cooler or too with groceries so we don’t have to purchase at the destination where things are usually more expensive. This cooler is a great option for us due to the large capacity, small footprint, and ability to fold it up on the way home when it’s empty. I love that it’s a true rectangle (as opposed to rounded coolers) as it makes it easier to pack around it in the car. The flip-top lid is very secure and easy to use on-the-go. The set up of the cooler is super easy, but I did find I needed to manually adjust the inner layer (maybe this will decrease over time). Closing things up is a little more difficult since you have to remove the liner in order to fold it, but the design is still so handy that I still give it 5 stars. The handles are also really secure for locking things together in the collapsed position. It’s a little heavy on its own but it seems really durable. Overall I would recommend this style of cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coleman Snap 'N Go 55-Quart Collapsible Hard Cooler is so convenient! This is my husband's new favorite thing. We have already used this cooler on 2 roadtrips and it has worked great! It keeps our beverages very cold for many hours and does not leak. The best part is that it folds down for easy storage. It folds down flat enough to fit just about anywhere. Also, it is super easy to unfold and reassemble! I am actually surprised that no one has thought of this sooner!
