A Grill Never To Buy

I was given this grill as a birthday gift from my family. I don’t have any words to use to encourage anyone to buy this grill. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in it. I found the instructions not easy to follow It took me a long time to assemble it. Then I found it very heavy and difficult to raise the grill to put it in the up right position as instructed in the manual. Also I never heard of a grill that needed water to use it I returned it to the store completely put together and never used found it difficult to raise the grill as instructed in the close position on the floor. It was so heavy to pull up. Also I never heard of a grill that needed water to use it. No explanation was given why. So I returned it to the store completely put together and unused

Quality And Durability

Unfortunately, after less than 2 months and less than 15 uses for 2 people, I cleaned the whole grill and found that the inside of it at the bottom is peeling and starting to rust. Very happy I got this on sale. Not what I expected from a Coleman product.

Absolutely A Must Have

Have owned one for about 2 decades. Our current one since 2020. Absolutely love it. There's hardly anything I can't make in mine. I even make fresh bread/buns in it. Pizza can't be beat. On rare times we buy from a pizzeria I usually crisp it up on my Coleman.

Convenient And Easy To Use

I struggle with how to make sure that it’s completely cleaned out prior to travel. I would’ve expected a catch pan underneath and did not research well enough to understand that prior to the purchase..

Great Purchase! So Happy

We absolutely love this gril! it’s the perfect size for two people. We’ve made steaks chicken and hotdog so far and everything’s come out perfect!

Buyer Beware!

We purchased this RoadTrip grill in 2020, it worked beautifully for a year, we were very pleased with the performance. After that we started having issues with the flame just going out, we took it apart and cleaned everything. It worked better for a time. We took it on our vacation, which is why we purchased it originally, it worked one day and then it didn't. All the searching online said "regulator" so we went searching for one that would fit. Forget that!! Not Coleman or any of the after market parts places even recognize it!! Really?! The regulator is an odd shape we could not match. So, we went and bought a Weber Traveler, hopefully we will have a better experience with this one.

Not Well Made

Purchases of a week long camping trip and once put together the legs don’t even out. Complete garbage. Thanks for ruining my family’s first camping trip. We will never buy or recommend Coleman products.

Cover Doesn't Close And Latch With Grills In Place

Another user also posted regarding the fact that the cover cannot be closed and latched with the grills in place. You can see from old reviews, this isn't an issue but for the newer model it is. If I were using this in my backyard it would be an annoyance, but for camping the convenience of this grill is cancelled out by having to lug the grills separately, especially after using. Colemans' response of "sorry" doesn't help, and now owners of this model are stuck with a poorly designed, inconvenient not so portable grill. BUYER BEWARE!

Works Great , Love It!

After 20 plus years of camping , I finally stepped up and got a nice portable grill. A shame that I wasted all of those yeas but no crying over spilled milk. You can get a cheap grill and save money but this thing is reasonably priced, works great and is easy to move. I score it a 9.5 out of 10!

Best backyard grill for individual cooking. All I ever need or desire.
