Captain 54
This is my 3rd Cold Steel. 1st one got in the mid 90’s. Lost it about 04. Replaced it with the one I just purchased. Only because I wanted a new one. Put the old one on the self until I pass it on to my grandson. Who will get many years of use. Unless he’s like his pap and loses it after 10 or 12 years. To sum up. Great products.
I have the AUS-8 version of the CODE-4. I am not a fan of AUS-8 steel. AUS-8 is just way too soft for my use. The S35VN is soooooo much better of a steel. Even with the increased cost, the much better steel gives Cold Steel I larger audience of knife enthusiasts. The CODE-4 is a great, very slim, knife. Drop point is probably my favorite knife blade shape. The aluminum handle makes this rather large folding knife, very lightweight. When gripping tightly, the aluminum handle stays in the hands very well. If I have one negative, is the hollow grind. I prefer a flat grind for better blade strength.

Holds edge much better than my buck #110 s30v knife

I bought the smaller version years ago, & carried everyday. It is a true work horse cutting open boxes, rope and even steaks. Strong lockup One of the best knifes around

The design of this knife is so elegant. Very slim but really solid. Feels unbreakable. Smooth action easily flipping it open with your thumb. Locks in really tight. And razor sharp.

I bought this knife from cold steel store in a different online shopping site, and man.. this thing is beyond my expectations.. Very concealable.. Tri-ad lock.. And S35VN blade.. What else I can add or change?!! Nothing.

This knife really has a beautiful cut on the blade. It feels nice in your hand and is stupid sharp. The knife has a thin profile and is light in weight so is a joy to carry. I recommend this knife and the build quality is outstanding.
