Simply me

I purchased these trekking poles on the recommendation of a friend. They were affordable, which is what I needed at the time. They are okay, I guess, but one of the poles' lower locks has never worked. For the last year, I have hiked with only one pole, as that was sufficient for the type of hiking I was doing and gave me great support for my weaker knee. This spring, I started reaching higher and more difficult terrain and need both poles. I can not figure out how to tighten this lower bolt up. That is disappointing .

Best Poles Ever

Very strong durable poles. Once you set them to size they stay locked in position. Used them for snow showing now and will be using for hiking later. I may purchase another set to keep in second car so I don’t forget them when I want to hike at a time I didn’t expect. Highly recommend.

Nice Light Poles

Bought these for my wife and she loves them. They adjust easily, are super light, and with the variety of fittings work great for different terrains and ground situations.

Great For The At

Literally used these poles for the entirety of the Appalachian Trail. Tips were worn by the end but that's usual for a 2200 mile journey. The fact the price is so good for the durability is great. One downside (and thats just because its carbon fiber) is they can snap easier. Had that happen to me a couple years ago when I crossed a stream, jammed it between rocks and slipped on it. But considering they survived 2200 miles means they are great as long as the user doesnt do something stupid.

Great Value With Smaller Grip

I've had these trekking poles for over 3 years now and they've performed at the same level as my more expensive poles. I originally got them as a backup to my Black Diamond trekking poles that I've had for 12+ years as I got tired of having to change out the boots when I alternated from concrete to gravel trail, which is how I use the poles most of the time. In 2021 I took these on a 5 day hiking trip in Olympic National Forest and they were great! The flip lock mechanism makes it very easy to collapse and expand the poles as they went in and out of my daypack. Since then I've used them seasonally on trips to Colorado or just the local gravel trails when it's not too hot. For the most part I don't really collapse them - they stay expanded in my garage, ready for use. Another review mentioned these making a noise - I haven't experience that ever. The cork grip is great if you have a smaller hand. My only complaint is on the straps, which there is a limit on how small you can tighten them due to the stitched felt padding.

Decent Poles For The Money

I got these poles about a year ago to compare to another budget brand and found them worthy competitors. The bag is great, doesn't have that cheap feel so many in this price range do. The poles I got were a bit shy of 50" but close enough and they each weighed 8.2 oz. which is great. I didn't like the bindings as much as I had hoped - they're so rounded it's not always easy to get a good grip. The quick releases seem weak and don't always fall into place. Also these poles vibrate more than I am used to and can be fairly loud when in use. Tips and baskets were good. Pretty standard and there was a nice collection of them.
