The shoes meet my expectations with the exception of the shoestrings. I am having trouble with the shoestrings staying tied.

Durable Shoes With A Fixable Problem

The best thing about these shoes is that they have a good stiff shank. Not many shoes have that these days, but it makes walking on rocks or stairsteps easier. Next, the sole is very tough and has a deep tread for good traction on dirt and grass. The waterproof Nubuck leather is good for keeping water out, but it also keeps moisture in, which promotes athlete's foot. The only real problem I have with the shoes is that they really hurt the top of my feet under the sides of the tongue and eyelets. To help keep water out, the sides of the tongue are attached to the uppers just below the eyelets. There were folds in the fabric and lumps in the seams of the tongue that pressed against my feet. I solved the problem by cutting away pieces of the tongue and replacing the round laces with flat laces. They are comfortable now. They seem well-constructed and durable. I normally wear European size 43 and should have gotten the size 9.5 instead of 10.

You Wont Be Disappointed In This Shoe

This shoe is excellent, sizes fit perfect, wore them during snow blowing, walking in deep snow, always kept my feet warm and dry. Also light weight so wont tire legs out wearing all day,bought a pair for my son who does outdoor contracting and he loves them.

Love them unfortunately I think my dog loved them more than I did and she ate them. I never had a dog eat my homework, but this is a first. Unfortunately, they are damage, but I can still use them. The questions you're asking me to review are a little premature for durability I'm not gonna write that right now. I like the shoe. Very comfortable, but I had to cut some material out of the tongue initially. At the top of the tongue where it is connected to the shoe, at the top two lace holes, the material "bunched up" and was very uncomfortable when the laces where tightened up. Mostly on the inboard side, but on both shoes. Maybe a shade small on the sizing.

Ok, But Not Great.

They're an alright shoe. I like the look better than 90% of other mostly all black shoots out there. They are a lot heavier than I like. This is the first wide shoot I've ever bought and still have and issue of too tight in the toes on the right foot.
