Best Detroit Jacket I Have Worn

I just received this jacket today, but it fits perfectly. I already own the WIP version, which is more expensive, but this one has everything the WIP has, as well as more room

Fits Great

Got this today and got to try it out once I got home. Went outside and the temperature real feel was at 29°f and it did well at keeping me warm for a bit. Fits well got an xl tall, I already know I'm going to enjoy using this jacket. Has a decent amount of pockets as well.

Ok, Just Not Great.

Not bad, but also not great. No liner in the sleeves at all. Putting a satin liner in the sleeves would make this a true work jacket because it would help keep your shirt sleeves from bunching up when moving your arms a lot. I would have returned this jacket if I had paid full price for it.

Love the jacket. Always wanted a Detroit and the stretch is very appreciated. Not a warm jacket but that's why it gets a (1) rating from Carhartt on their warmth scale & I knew that when I purchased it.

Relaxed Fit Duck Detroit Jacket

I love this jacket. I wear it all of the time. It can be used for work or casual wear. It has a 1 warm rating but I think it could almost be passed as a 2 warm rating in my opinion.

4 stars overall rating. Jacket not as warm as the others in same Warmth Rating. Would have preferred same color (which I love) with the blanket lined inner.

Amazing Light Jacket

Amazing jacket! Exactly what is needed in a Georgia winter. Could not recommend enough. I did have to get the tall though But otherwise great piece of gear.

He absolutely adored it. It was long enough for him to wear a sweatshirt underneath and room enough. I'm talking about the jacket and hat was perfect and the gloves are awesome cause he works outside a lot.

Motor City Jacket

It is a nice jacket. I think that it is made with good quality but this jacket is more for "looks" than it is for heavy use out at the construction site. Although it could if that's your intentions but it might not be as durable as you'd like. My purchase was for casual wear out & about town.The outershell is soft and has a "broken in" feel. The inside torso has insulation that is lightweight which makes this jacket, to me, more for layering with a long sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt/hoodie underneath it. I have purchasd many carhartt LS tees / flannels in Large Tall (Loose) so I bought the same size. I found the length of the torso "seemed" to short as i prefer my jackets to hit below the waist. I ended up returning it and got an XL Tall. I am 5' 10", 200pds with most of my weight at my belly. Also, I do prefer my clothes loose fitting too. One side of the collar appears to be slightly longer than the other. This is something that no one will probably notice. It does have snap buttons on the sides for adjustment like a denim jacket but I wish their were a couple more or they would offer the snap buttons for purchase just to make it slimmer fitting when just a short sleeve t shirt is worn. The jacket does have a "boxy" look which I like. Overall it's a nice, well made jacket.

Great Jacket

I really enjoy this jacket. I can wear it casual, out to dinner or to the hardware store, work etc. As all things Carhartt its made well, quality workmanship. Since it was "relaxed fit" vs. "loose fit" I ordered up a size. I traditionally wear a medium, and a medium would have fit fine but I wanted a little extra room to wear multiple layers (because it is a lighter jacket). Great jacket.

Great lightweight jacket! Lil bit big for a 2XL, but not bad. (I'm 5'10", 255lbs)

I've worn it twice and it immediately started to fray. Which sucks. I like the look but a 120 dollar jacket should not do that.
