I was given the basic 24” smoker for Father’s Day at first I was a little disappointed because it was small and fancy features and thought I’d probably take it back and get a bigger fancier one but after ; years I still cook on it most every week and I’ll keep it until I wear it out.

Got the grill 6m months ago use it a few times a week. There is great, good, so-so, and bad things. Over all I do really enjoy this grill/smoker. Most of it is great quality. But here’s a couple things. I highly recommend buying the foldable front tray very helpful when using. The Ash cup is almost useless and that was a big selling feature for me. Not sure if it’s a design flaw or manufacturing thing but the way they tell you to fix it is to hit it with a hammer. That’s not OK with me. The grate and the barrel seem to be really good quality holding up well, but I take care of things. Recommend wiping your probes and your temperature thermometer inside with white vinegar after use. Recently, the paint began to chip on my hood, like I said it’s only six months old that should not be the case. It lives under cover when not in use. But overall holds temperature really well and maintains it very well. Even cooking across the entire grill surface. Highly recommend the grill/smoker for anybody who enjoys to cook meat on a regular basis. I also hope the company decides to add a couple features in the future, such as the bottom storage tray and the collapsible front tray for the user. I will say upgrades, such as those are easily found by anybody which just a simple Google search.

I got my 24SG almost 6 years ago. This has been by far the best grill ever. Keep it under the good waterproof cover and clean it it will treat you well.

I appreciate the design and function of my XT. Assembly was easy to understand with just legs, handles, wheels and chimney topper. Got a great smoke ring out of 7 hour all night brisket with smoke dialed in. I'd buy it again.

I have owned other brand name pellet grills and accessories and by far Camp Chef is the best of the bunch. I am a big fan of the Camp Chef brand.

I bought this smoker about a year ago. It works good for smoking ribs and smaller appetizers at higher temps. Anything below 240 and it will flameout after a couple hours which is inconvenient as I bought this smoker to use for longer cooks. I was hoping to be able to set it up over night and have the meat done the next day. Countless times I have been disappointed when I walk out in the morning to a “flame out” display. I’ve tried 225 and it does the same thing. I’ve tried many different brands of pellets, I’ve tried it all. Still does the same thing. Overall not a terrible smoker just not what I was looking for I guess.

I scored mine used from a fellow's widow who just wanted rid of it. I've had it 4 years now and I don't hardly use my Weber gas anymore. I've done numerous turkeys, chickens, steaks, pork cuts, my all time favorite briskets, even fish. Only had a couple occasions of being disappointed. I use it couple days a week and every weekend

Can’t control the temp. Can’t control the smoke. Controls don’t function as manual says

I bought this smoker almost 3 years ago and we love it! The clean out cup is so handy compared to the competitors method. The direct flame for burgers and steaks makes it very versatile. We cook everything in it, from pies to pizza's, ribs, roasts, chicken, you name it, we've cooked it in here. Even made a cake once. We rarely use the indoor oven at all! We just had a major hiccup on it, though, so, I contacted customer support by e-mail and explained the problem. They figured it out and sent the parts I needed within a week. Parts were easy to replace and it was running perfectly right away. No hassle, no problem, best customer service I've ever had! We plan to keep this one a long time, but we'll replace it with another Camp Chef!

As one other reviewer mentioned...there's very little smoke flavor. I suspect this is largely due to the fan running (loud, and what seems to be on high) continuously. Most quality pellet smokers have a variable fan

I purchased the PG Smoke Pro XT a little over a year ago. In that time I have used it a couple of times a week. About 6 months ago I upgraded the controller to the Gen 2 WIFI. Prior to this grill I had never owned a pellet smoker. I have several friends that own Traeger models, but I chose Camp Chef for the features (ash dump, etc.). The best part of Camp Chef is the Customer Service! They aim to please!

Been a gas griller all my life - easy, fast, why change? Picked up the XT 24 - total game changer. Every grilled item is better. Use it like an oven, smoke fish, grill hot dogs, slow cook a roast, it does it all. EASY to use, simple to learn options on the controller, and very little mess. I should have got one years ago. I choose Camp Chef because I have been using Camp Chef camping related products for years - very high quality and long lasting. I expect the same from XT. Great job!
