Bad Workmanship

I brought my bubba knife about 7 months ago, because I heard it was a good dependable knife, so I thought. I was filleting my fish and about 2 inches of the knife just broke off while I was filleting the fish. I wasn't chopping, sawing anything like that just filleting and it broke. I couldn't believe it. And the warrant doesn't cover that. I paid a lot of money for this knife and if this is the product that's supposed to be the best, I'll take my chance with another brand. At least they warranty their knifes. I'm so disappointed in this knife, because thought it was the best, but I guest not.

Dulls very quickly.Do like the feel of the handle.Works well when you can get an edge on them.The blade snapped in half cleaning a walleye.

Too Flexable

I used my 9 inch tapered flex only once. I was filleting a fluke(summer Flounder). As I slid the knife down the backbone it flexed up and broke through the skin (too much flex).As I again ran it down the backbone it hit a small bone and the point broke off. I fillet hundreds of fluke every year and have never had this happen. Hoping to get a refund

Great Start

Used my knife first time on trip to Lake Vermillion in Minnesota. Knife super sharp out of box. I cut a variety of fish, from perch to walleyes and Pike. I liked the 9 inch flex, better than my old 7 inch Rapala knife . Was able to filet small fish along with removing the Y bones in Pike. So far so good, knife is good quality and larger handle works well. Let’s see how well long it stays sharp and how it does after sharpening.
