The Best Hi-vis Running Top

This top is amazing! Breathes really well and is definitely the most stylish hi-vis gear out. I find the fit is cropped at the waist which works well when running. The rain jacket version of this next on my shopping list.

Size Up, Shirt Runs Short

Very comfortable and breathable. Usually wear mediums, but with all Brooks tops, I size up. 5’8 slim, large fits well in arm length. Definitely borderline too short for my liking, but it’s right at waistline, so I don’t mind it. If you like your tops longer, this isn’t it! Otherwise very light and breathable. Good purchase

Not Attractive

I really wanted to like this but ended up returning it. It was really boxy looking, fairly short (and I am only 5 ft tall), sleeves too long and I could not tell from the pics but it had a mock turtleneck. Although I never ran in it the fabric also seemed like it would be annoying with it's waffle pattern.

Too Short!

I had high hopes for this shirt. I have a similar one from many years ago and wanted to upgrade. This shirt is more like a crop top (and I don't have a particularly long torso). I returned it - when I'm running in cold weather I want something longer. The rest of the shirt fit fine, so it's not that I got the wrong size, the shirt is just bizarrely short.

Great Find

Some previous reviewers are right in that this top is a bit short and may hit just below the waist depending on your height. That makes it perfect for petites! The slightly blue fabric is really nice and the fit allows for a lot of freedom of movement. Fit is closer to a t-shirt than a hugging garment. Just warm enough for morning workout, and can be layered with another top if it's freezing temperature.

Too Short!

The shirt is too short. I’m 5’11” and it looks like a belly top on me. I would like the whole shirt next time. Why would I want a long sleeve shirt my mid drift is exposed in? Would return if it wasn’t such a hassle.

Perfect Addition To Running Grear

It is the perfect compliment to my running gear. It was warmer that I expected. That was a pleasant surprise. I run at 5:30 am. I really appreciate the reflective gear.

Surprisingly Nice

Nice shirt. I initially considered returning it as the collar was itchy when I tried it on out of the package. I was also a bit concerned about the fit as I didn’t want it to shrink. I’m happy to report that the itchiness washed out and it did not shrink. My first wearing was a 5K in about 70-degree weather (overcast) and I didn’t overheat. Looking forward to taking advantage of the reflectors in the dark. Note, however, that the white has a bluish tint to it.

I like the fabric of this shirt. It keeps you warm without feeling too thick. The shirt is slightly cropped which makes it flattering and allows for easy movement around the waist.

The shirt is really nice for my night time runs. I feel safe while wearing it and can easily breathe in it.

Should’ve Bought The Men’s

The shirt is very reflective and stylish. I give you that. But it’s short, both in the torso and the arms. I’m 5’8 and I bought a medium, which is my size. But I would have been better off buying this item in a men’s and not a women’s. I now need to use the shirt as a layer, which wasn’t and isn’t the intention.

Short But Comfortable

I wish it was a little longer. Otherwise it’s a nice weight for cooler after dark runs and I love the reflective features.
