Want To Love

I want to love these, but it's just like. Pros: they do not ride up which is great Cons: could have more stash pockets for gels, etc. They are very high rise and compression, so by the end of a long run I feel pretty squeezed in the tummy, and I'm a pretty small person. I want to try the Spark 5" shorts and see how that goes.

Yay! Might Be A Shorts Person Now

I’ve never been a shorts person (usually wear capri cut tights) but recently I got the idea to try shorts + long sleeve crop top (sun protection) for summer running. These are phenomenal. The ends don’t roll up and the side pocket fits my iPhone 11. I probably could have fit more comfortably in a Small but I like a lot of compression so got XS. Takes some work to squeeze into but I feel secure during my run without being uncomfortable. 5’3” 120lb Only thing I don’t like is that the logo on the left leg peels off (might be attributed to how tight the shorts are so they have to stretch a lot).

Great Tights!

My favorite running tights! They actually stay put and the side pockets are perfect for your phone or any fuel you may need. They are compression but I don't feel like I am being crushed.

Sizing Is Way Off - Bummer

Sizing is way off in my opinion. Although these shorts are great quality, the medium was WAY too tight on me. The waist was tight but the legs squeeze my quads like sausages. For reference, I am a small in other running brands, 5'6" and a 27 waist. In other brooks running shorts, I tried a medium and they are almost too big. I had no idea I would need to size up 2 sizes just to have these fit. Bummed and also they were final sale :( Would love sizing to me more consistent between Brooks women's running shorts.

Pockets!

These will be great for summer runs. I was hoping to wear these under shorts for playing ultimate frisbee, but I think these are a bit too thick/hot. The pocket will be really useful since most of my running shorts don't have pockets and my old running waistband cannot fit my new gigantic phone

Not Great For Strong Thighs

Love the fit and style but made for not so strong of thighs.

Big Thighs=big No

Love the length + waist fit on these but absolutely not for bigger thighs. So tight I had to return them.

Great, but run a little small. I wear xs in most running shorts, but needed a small in these.

Not Meant For Thick Thighs

Wanted to love these. The idea is great, but they run small. A size up would’ve been loose in the waist. The legs are not meant for anyone with thicker legs

Great Shorts

These shorts are substantial. The length is good, not too short and not too long. Nice for trail running or hiking. If you prefer a not-so-tight compression fit, size up.

Snug Fitting Compression Shorts

These shorts are TIGHT! I have these and the Moment shorts. I give the Moment shorts 5* because I like the fit a little bit better. I have muscular thighs and these ride up just a tad. The moment don't at all on me. These are very snug fitting if that's what you are looking for! The pockets are great and the shorts do not fall down when things are in them.

I’m sorry, but I do not like these shorts. They don’t stay down and I find myself pulling them down. They roll up my legs in an unflatteringly way. I do like the high waste and the fit. I honestly would like to return them. I have been buying brooks gear for years and this is the first purchase I don’t like.

Was looking for mens medium but for the sale price, I took the women's large. Fits great, feels great.

I love these! I think these do fit more snug so I probably will size up when I order again. The pockets on these are great and fit my iPhone mini in the back pocket. These stay in place and don’t chafe. I will be a repeat buyer.
