I've been wearing Ghost's for a few years now, but they changed the heel and tongue in the 18s so the same size I always get feels huge! I exchanged my normal size for a half size down, but it still feels too big and now I can't return them. Idk if I need to break them in more, but my left knee was hurting after a 2 mile walk in these brand new sneakers (which should feel really good). Ugh why did they have to change the design! Just beware you may need to size down a whole size for the 18s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these shoes except for the tongue. Changed from the 17 and isn’t an improvement. Could slide feet right in the 17s, but not the 18s. No padding in the tongue on the 18s either. Why change something good?! Never have and never will understand changing something for no good reason. Please don’t change so I have to go shoe searching in the future. Love Brooks for a reason, so remember that new doesn’t mean improved.

The Brooks Women’s Ghost 18 is a comfortable, dependable daily running shoe that focuses on a smooth ride rather than trying to be flashy or overly specialized. It’s a strong choice for runners who want one shoe that can handle everyday training, walking, and casual wear. The biggest strength of the Ghost 18 is its balanced cushioning. The midsole provides enough softness to make longer runs and extended periods on your feet comfortable, while still retaining enough responsiveness that the shoe doesn’t feel excessively soft or sluggish. The transition from heel to toe is smooth, making the Ghost 18 particularly easy to settle into. The fit is another highlight. The shoe has a secure, comfortable feel through the heel and midfoot without being overly restrictive. The toe box provides reasonable room for natural toe movement, although runners with particularly wide feet may want to consider one of Brooks’ wider-width options. The upper is breathable and comfortable, and the overall construction feels substantial without making the shoe unnecessarily heavy. The Ghost line has a reputation for durability, and the Ghost 18 continues that tradition. It feels like a shoe designed to accumulate miles rather than simply look good out of the box. Where the Ghost 18 is less impressive is speed and energy return. If you're looking for a highly responsive shoe for racing, intervals, or fast tempo runs, there are better choices. The Ghost 18 is much more about comfort, consistency, and versatility than maximum performance. For everyday running, walking, treadmill workouts, and general use, however, that's hardly a criticism. The Ghost 18 is an easy shoe to recommend because it doesn't have any major weaknesses. It provides a comfortable fit, dependable cushioning, good stability, and a smooth ride without requiring the runner to adapt to the shoe. Overall: 4.5/5 The Brooks Women’s Ghost 18 is an excellent everyday neutral running shoe for someone who values comfort and reliability over aggressive speed. It is especially well suited to runners who want a versatile shoe that can comfortably handle both running and walking. If your priority is a dependable shoe that you can put on and forget about, the Ghost 18 is a very good choice.

Love these shoes. They fit me perfectly. I have bought wide width shoes before and they are way too wide. Brooks Ghost 18 wide is perfect.

Loved my ghost 16s, but I find the 18 to be much narrower in the toe and not as comfortable. Super unfortunate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, unfortunately the Ghost 18 was not better than the Ghost 16. The Ghost 17 I skipped altogether as even with a 2E, the shoe was much more narrow than the other models. I was really hoping that the Ghose 18 was going to be great, but upon trying it on, it felt was too soft, and "bouncy" with my first thought being like moon boots. The heel projection was no comfortable either! I also really did not care for the flat, thin and conforming tongue of the shoe..not comfortable and easily moved and shifted across the top of my foot just walking in the house on carpet. As a Brooks fan who had to switch from decades of wearing the Adrenaline because the hill was raised in 2016, which threw my knees and back too far up and caused hip pain, I was hoping the Ghost was my last stop! PLEASE STOP changing the shoes so often. While I know as a brand you want to stay "fresh and current", change the colors (especially for 2E Women), not aspects that lessen the integrity of the shoe. I don't want to feel elevated to the point of twisting my ankle is shoes that are supposed to support and stabilize me while exercising. I returned the GHOST 18 and am now trying the Adrenaline again, but with the initial try one, it is very stiff. The tongue is great though. Will keep you posted.

Light weight but super supportive. A lot of other brands the shoe is heavy with this much cushion, but the Ghost 18 didn't feel heavy when walking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've ran in these shoes for the past few weeks as I am training for a marathon and I've really loved them so far! The tongue detail is super comfortable and it has been a perfect addition to my running lineup! I was a little nervous about the stiffness with them compared to my other shoes I run in, but they break in super easily and I actually prefer this support and cushion more now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a nurse in the emergency department, I spend a lot of time standing and moving fast. The cushion and support of these shoes are exceptional.
