Not A Fan Of These

I ordered these online thinking that they would be like all the other Brooks that I have worn. I was greatly disappointed and had to return them. The color was nice, but that's about it. The size is narrower than my past Ghost shoes have been and I could not find a wide width anywhere. I also do not like the tongue of the shoe at all, even though it is soft, it digs into the leg. They should not have changed the design of the shoe at all; I like when they really only changed the colors.

This shoe makes you want to take an step. It almost feels like you're gliding. Very comfortable.

These Are Great Running Shoes!

I love them! The test for running shoes for me oats that they don't make my feet numb after 30 minutes of running. These are great! And I have worn them walking and running and they are comfortable for both!

I Like The Ghost 18

It is slightly wider than the previous Ghost and more comfortable. I like the stability I feel when I wear them.

So Glad I Tried Ghost 18 - They Restored My Faith In Ghost!

I have loved Ghost shoes for years - but was so disappointed in the Ghost 17 I almost gave up. They rubbed and created sores on my ankle. I had to send them back and try to find a Ghost 15 again somewhere. I gave it another shot with Ghost 18 - and what a difference! Such support, no rubbing, feels like walking on a cloud. And that's what I do - walk - a LOT. I do not run but I also do different aerobic and strength classes and just wear them for every day. I will be ordering another Ghost 18 soon - I want a back-up for when I wear these out after several months!

Love The 18s

I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. Last fall I upgraded to the 17s from my very well-worn 15s, but the more I wore them, the more I realized I wasn't a fan of them. When the 18s were released, I saw reviews from people saying the 18s were much more comfortable than the 17s and fit more like the earlier versions, so I decided to upgrade again. So glad that I did because those reviews were correct - the 18s are more like the previous Ghost versions as far as fit and comfort. They don't pinch and rub my ankles, they feel very supportive, and I've gotten so many compliments on the colors. I don't typically buy a new pair of shoes as the newer versions are released, but I'm glad I got the 18s to replace the 17s.

Love the fit, feel, and comfort of the Ghost 18 shoe . I have wide feet and these fit better than the Ghost 17 pair . The stretchy material of the tongue is great .
