Inner Shorts Too Loose

The outer shorts are great, but the inner lining is too thin/loose and rides up quite a bit (not tight like compression shorts). I considered sizing down to make the inner shorts fit better, but then the outer shorts would be too small and would lose their looser quality. Still good shorts, just know that the liner shorts may not stay put.

Great Shorts

I really like these shorts. The waistband is comfortable, the length is good (7" would work too), and they just work for me. I don't run but walk, workout in the gym and will probably spin in them at times. They are perfect for the gym when it is too warm tights. The inner short does creep up some but I don't find that a problem. All the pockets are good - not sure if a phone would work as it may be too heavy. I don't always carry a phone. I also have the 2.0 version which I might send back. I much prefer the regular shorts because they fit so much better. They are both mediums but the 2.0 version has too much room in the legs, baggy. I could probably go with a small in those. I am 5'2'' and 115 lbs. I wear a small in the 7" Chasers.

They’re Good, But Could Be Better.

I really wanted to love these shorts. They are more comfortable than most of the Brooks shorts I have tried. They have a slightly higher waist, which I love, and the waistband is nice and wide so it doesn’t fold over while I’m running. The downside to them is the pocket. It’s oddly narrow. My phone barely fit, and my phone weighed down the shorts while I was running. These will be “short run without my phone” only shorts. I also wish they came in a 7” inseam. Some of us need that extra length.

Great Shorts, No Chafing But Small Pockets.

Comfy pair of shorts that feel light and easy to run in, didnt cause me any chafing which is excellent! Only issue i had with these shorts is the size of the side pockets, theyre quite small and i couldnt fit my phone in them. Other than that im very happy with these shorts!

Liked These A Lot!

These shorts are super comfortable and cute - I like that they're a little bit longer than the shorts that I already own, and I prefer the shorts-style liner to other types (e.g., no liner, brief liner). I'll definitely be snagging more in the future! If helpful, I'm 5'1" and ~115lbs and a size S worked well for me.

Not Worth The Hefty Price

I am disappointed in these shorts. I ordered a small, my usual size, but they seem a little big. I was hoping they’d carry my phone on long runs for music but the liner shorts are not substantial enough to hold a phone while running. They flop and are loose. These are not a great fitting short due to poor considerations when making them. They are awkward to say the least. I would not have purchased them had I known. And the color is odd too.

Great Concept But Poor Fit

Love the idea of these shorts and wanted to love wearing them. Unfortunately, I found the outer shorts to be pretty tight (definitely smaller than the same size in the regular chaser shorts), and the inner shorts were looser than I liked. Putting my phone in the pocket of the inner shorts just made them even looser and significantly pulled that side down. I would like to see these with a more snug inner short and looser outer layer.

Perfect Shorts!

These are amazing! Unlike others have said, I feel these are true to size or possible run large (I am a medium in UA and Nike, but small in these). They don’t ride up, and I have thick thighs compared to the rest of my body. Outer shorts are nicely loose while inner is fitted. And my phone (iphone 15 pro with popsocket & case) fits perfectly in the inner shorts pockets unlike others said. I do wish it fit in the back zipper pocket like Nathan 2-in-1 shorts do but that’s fine for how comfy these are!

New Favorite Running Shorts!

The best running shorts!! The liner doesn't ride up so for all my girls with thighs you get to avoid the dreaded ride up and also not have to just wear biking shorts! The liner is tight enough to not move around but isn't too compression-y so still quite comfortable.

Not Curvy Girl Approved.

This are not curvy girl approved (typically a size 8). The spandex bunched up and doesn’t stay in place and the shorts are pretty unflattering. I was very disappointed. Especially with the expensive price tag.

Outer Shorts Too Tight In Thighs

I really wish these shorts had worked for me because 2-in-1 shorts are all I'll run in. I love the color choices, the pockets, and the length, though I wouldn't mind the inner shorts being an inch longer. The foldable waistband so we can choose how high it sits on the waist is great. But the outer shorts are cut so slim through the thigh that they're not really any looser than the inner shorts. They end up giving you the same silhouette as if you were running in just tights with no shorts on top, which, for me, defeats the whole purpose of 2-in-1 shorts. I would consider sizing up just to get looser outer shorts, but the inner shorts and the hips and waist of the outer shorts fit perfectly and would be too loose if I went up a size. I returned them with regrets.

Bright For Running

If you get the neon/yellow, it is quite bright - exactly what I was looking for - except the bike/compression part of the shorts wasn't very compressed. And I would've liked it to be a bit (half inch to an inch) longer.

Great Run Shorts!

So light ans breezy! Might be a new favorite. They stay put, no wedgies or camel toes. Count that as a big win!! Love the reflective yellow color.

Nice But The Fit Was Slightly Off

I’m so incredibly disappointed in the fit with these shorts. I’m 5’1 and 130lbs and the medium fit but was snug around the hips and abdomen, lose at the back of the legs, but snug at the front of the legs but fit around the waist. Maybe these shorts are just not cut right for my frame but I wanted to love these so much. They were made well and the fabric feels like it would be great on long runs. I will try the large at my local running store before I re-buy the large online but something tells me the large is going to be too big.
