Initially caused feet to hurt but the way the dirt just rinsed off the surface caused me to want to try them again. I'm so glad I did because the 2nd run of 9mi was absolutely dreamy. This was so comfortable and feels lighter than what it is. I am able to run further than I have in my heavy hokas (which caused me to stay away from shoes over 8oz.) I'm eager to get another pair in a different color way.

Secure Trail Running - Dry, Comfortable Feet.

Every morning at dawn, I grab my Cascadia 18's and head across country with my 9 dogs for their morning run before work. My feet are comfortable, stable, secure on the trails and when I return, my socks are dry!! Love these shoes! This is my second pair of Cascadia's. They have proven to be durable, comfortable and just amazing on my cross country trail runs/walks/hikes. I honestly do not think about my feet....only catching my breath and counting my dogs are all with me! :)
