Best Shoes Ever

I have been wearing Ariels for so long now. I literally wear them every day of my life. To work, to walk, to run. Nothing makes my back and knees happier than the support these shoes provide. Would never look at any other brand.

Too Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My big toes were pushed right up against the end of the shoe, but if I go up a half size I’m confident the heal will be too big. This is sad because otherwise the shoe has what I want. It isn’t too cushiony so it gives good feedback, it has the meta rocker, good arch support, and it keeps my supination under control. I’m hypermobile and it is so hard to find all these things in a shoe. I’m so sad the length is weird. Will have to return.

Hurt My Feet

I was actually wondering if the design was changed in these. I'm having trouble with them hurting my feet and usually they do not hurt at all.

Not The Same Ariel Shoe!

I have worn Brooks Ariel for years and always loved the fit and stability of this shoe. I ordered the new Ariel’s 26 and tried them on and they are not the brooks Ariel that I have always loved. They did something to the heal and arch support and it’s not a good thing. I tried wearing them for our walk, but my feet started aching pretty quickly, such a bummer Brooks, why would you change a great shoe. Several in my family wear these and have all had the same complaints and had to return them. I had to switch to Altra shoes. Your going to loose people over this change. It’s too bad.

Ariel Gts 26 Changes

I have worn Ariels for over 20 years and for the most part have been happy, but what happened to the Ariel GTS26? The bottoms feel like cardboard, the tongue hurts the top of my feet, the arch and the heel are off centered causing discomfort in the heel and arch, and the shoe feels slanted so that they force the toes to squish to the side when walking my 3+ miles. I wore these for over two months thinking maybe they had to be broken in, which would have been unusual for Brooks. My toes are black and blue and the planter fasciitis which this brand has kept at bay is giving me pains again. It is as if these shoes were put together wrong. I went back to my 24's and they were just fine, so the issue is not my feet changing. I would love to purchase another pair of the 24's as they were working fine, it was just time to replace my shoes as I do about every 3 months.

No Support For The Upper Foot

I wish you would go back to making the Ariel 24 style shoe. There is no support for the upper feet in these aerial 26. My orthopedic surgeon recommended the aerial series from Brooks and there's no support in these new aerial, 26 for the upper foot.

Poor Support For The Upper Foot

I wish you would go back to making the Ariel 24 shoe model, the aerial 26, there's no support in the sides for your feet. I have Arthritis and was recommended the Ariel by the podiatrist, and the orthopedic surgeon, but the new ariliel 26 shoe doesn't have the support I need in the upper body of the shoe.

The Inner Side Of Shoe With Support System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ariel has excellent stability and their fit suits my foot very well, I would say because of the medium width they control my feet extremely well. The grip is great, they make me feel very stable. My left foot requires stability, good fit and solid grip underneath, I wear them every day.
