Did What They Said They Would Do - Kept My Feet Dry In Wet Grass

I bought these shoes about a month ago and the the water resistance was tested over Labor Day weekend. I worked a XC race and was out in wet grass for 3+ hours. In past years, my socks are usually soaked 30 minutes in. Not this time. My socks were completely dry. I have run through puddles, through wet grass, and the shoes keep my feet dry. These shoes also have better grip on wet surfaces. I have been an adrenaline shoe wearer for years now and one of the things that I don't like about the shoes is how quickly the soles "smooth" out and lose their grip on wet pavement. Not these. The grip after a month of daily use is still as good as it was out of the box. The shoes do fit snuggly to your feet, so if you are used to shoes with more room, these will feel small. I think they fit great, although the toe box feels a little bigger than I would like. For reference, I wear normal width, but my feel lean towards narrow. It feels like my toes have too much room and if the upper part, especially around the laces, gets stretched out, my feet will feel like they are sliding all around in the shoe. The overall support and cushioning is what you expect from the adrenalines.

I love these shoes and the last pair I had was black with turquoise blue & hot pink accents. I sent this new color back because of the huge amount of black on top. Little accent colors near the laces make a huge impact. Please produce better colors, I need weatherized shoes.

Great Shoe For The Summer

Adrenaline is my preferred Brooks shoe, and I'm pleased to say that I remain pleased. Although it's extremely warm right now, my feet are never wet. They have great support and fit snug - not too tight. Highly recommend.
