Well Made, Stylish Running Shoes

I can't fairly rate this shoe due to a medical condition, so I gave it 3 stars, right in the middle. It's a very nice looking, well made shoe. I had high hopes but it wasn't a good match for me. I am a female with Morton's Neuroma. As such, I need a wider toe box and therefore have been wearing men's running shoes which are wider than women's since my diagnosis. A woman's wide is too wide and a man's medium width has been perfect. I was asymptomatic from the neuroma, meaning it didn't bother me. Then I tried on these shoes and it returned. I really hoped I could make these my favorite pair but unfortunately had to return them and try something else. I realize all shoes are made differently, so I'm currently trying a pair of Ghost's...so far, so good. Please don't let my rating affect your opinion of these shoes.

A very comfortable fitting running shoe for a reasonable value.

Brooks Long Time User.

Have been purchasing Brooks products for a long time. I find it hard to change as they are good for me and for well. I use mainly for walking and get up to 2 years out of my joggers.

Prefer The Trance 3

I love my trance 3 shoes and hoped that the 4 would be an improvement. However I feel that the 4 is a bit less springy and a little stiffer than the 3, so I prefer the 3 for my run style. But still a decent shoe as all Brooks are.
