Great For Hiking And Disney!!!!!
I got these specifically for a recent trip to Disney, and they were great! I wanted something with a bit more traction and style than some of my other Brooks (I’m devoted after foot issues that were resolved by switching to Brooks). I received a ton of compliments and had several people ask me questions about them. Since then, I’ve been able to go hiking, and they’ve performed very well, especially on some of the steeper, more slippery grades.

Amazing Experience
Coming from different “running” shoes I can tell the difference is incredible. The impact feedback feels so different and my joints don’t even hurt after a run. Amazing design for both trails and asphalt/concrete. Will definitely invest more in the brand.

Catamount Very Responsive And Light Shoe.
I will sincerely give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Price is really attractive. The performance on the shoe is great. If you are looking for a trail shoe that is not too bulky or too cushy, this shoe is for you. Catamount is light and responsive where you can feel the ground running. The sole is great and gives you noticeable track on the trail. I usually run 2 to 3 times per week averaging about 18-20 miles a week. Great shoe over all. The only con I see, my shoelaces kept getting undone every 30 mins. I ended up tying my shoelaces on a knot. Problem solved. Other shoelaces like the Brooks Ghost are perfect. Not the Catamount. No big deal.

Good Shoe But Not For Me
This is a great shoe. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have the same support for pronation like the adrenaline gts. If you aren’t completely flat footed I would suggest them. Well built and comfy

Almost Perfect..
Great shoe, top notch manufacturing and materials just slightly narrow toe box. I’m hoping it stretches some with use but absolutely great looking shoe that I get compliments on.

Catamount 4 Vs C 2's
I like them but I like the Cat amount 2 better. The 2s give a more planted feel.

Solid Choice For Fast Trail Runs
Great trail shoe, traction is excellent and the flexibility is just right. I have wide feet, but these didn’t give me any problems. I wore these for a 50K and they were perfect. The heel counter felt a little weird when I first put them on, but once the laces are tied correctly it wasn’t an issue. The laces are also great, they have small bumps that prevent them from untying easily. Loved this shoe.

Comfort And Style Are Great!
Love the Catamount running sneaker. I switched from 11 to 11.5 a few years ago and they feel much better.

Tongue leaves a little bit to be desired , not the best shoe selection for me on warm days due upper not being breathable. That being said it’s a comfortable shoe

Weatherproof But Wear Thin Socks.
Fits true to size. Love how water and light mud just beads off it. The high tongue really heals stabilize the foot. The shoe is stiff though and the cushioning feels just slightly above average. This might be due to the the extremely thin insole - like 1/16th of an inch - which seems like an afterthought and provides no arch support.

Catamount Vs Cascadia
I buy exclusively Brooks and ordered the catamount thinking it was the cascades which I love. I experience knee pain with The catamount when walking for an hour.
