Support + Comfort = Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is in love with these shoes. He works at a hospital and is constantly on his feet. So when we take hikes and runs, he's got to have comfortable, but tough shoes. He says these are his "cheat code" shoes. He says it's like walking on a cloud.

Wonderful Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing shoes, got them in wide and I'm sure glad I did, based on other reviews.

Forefoot/toebox Too Narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these Cascadia 20's in a size 13 Wide and really loved the fit and feel in all areas but the forefoot/toebox area. The heel and mid foot area felt great and the cushioning and landing in the midsole was amazing, but I could not get past the narrow forefoot/toebox area.

Overall Well Made Shoe, Needs A Little Help Inside The Shoe.

I use the cascadia for urban walking and while working my gardens. I like the stability these shoes offer especially when on uneven terrain. The reason I did not give a rating of five stars, is the material inside the shoe that connects to the tongue tore away from the tongue while I was taking the shoes off. The material seems to shear.

Great Shoe For Trail Runs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for trail running, great right out of box. Used for trail half recently, traction on dirt and gravel pack, stability when I needed it. Some tightness around top of laces on foot, need to adjust. Toe box slightly narrow. My long distance road shoe are Glycerins. Overall solid buy.

A Great Wide Trail Runner Option

Probably the best shoe I could find that is offered in a 2e width. Great numbers and very comfortable right out of the box

Terrific In Everyway

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super nice trail shoe. I got them to wear on my beach walks to give me a little more traction. When I go over ground I can sense how well engineered they are to handle all the different flexing. Brooks never disappoints.

Great Shoe With A Lot Of Upgrades From Previous Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a pair or two of the old Cascadia and it was a very good shoe. This one improves from the original Cascadia in cushioning, stability , maybe not quite as flexible but I think that contributes to the stability a little.. I hike and run on very rough trails and this shoes does very well…. I had a pair of the Catamounts and they were very good too but not as much cushioning … and not quite as stable… both good shoes but the new Cascadia 20 wins for me …

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn brooks trail shoes to hike in for years. This Cascadia 20 is a great shoe. Much more cushion and not as stiff as the 19. Feels great right out of the box. The Vibram sole is a really fantastic addition and gives fantastic traction and a secure feel on the trail.

Hard Wearing And Tough.

My cascadia 17s are outstanding on the road, trails & high terrain which is my reason for buying the 20s which are also outstanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Cascadia 20. Support, cushion, weight. And I think the colour combo is cool! One thing I need help with: One of the laces had a tight knot in it and I can't undo it. That's how it came out of the box. Please send me a new lace to 311 NW 193rd Court Shoreline WA 98177. Thanks, Ian (been a fan of Brooks since May 2004)

Not Like The 18 And 19

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to purchase men’s because the Cascadia 20 for women’s is the ugliest colors Brooks has ever used. I have the same models from the last two years and this model Cascadia 20 is completely different from the 19 and the 18. The front of the tow sits higher than it did on the other ones and makes it look more sneaker like versus the lower profile that a hiking shoe typically uses. These feel like they have more cushion than the previous ones which gives more bounce when running. I use these for trail running and every day running as well as the treadmill and the road and due to the cushion I’m not sure they will be as stable as previous models. They don’t have the waterproofing wrapped around the bottom edge of it like previous models to either, and these have more fabric. I’ve gotten several hundred miles out of my last two pair and after running 1 mile in these, I’m not sure they’re for me. This is troublesome as I’ve spent a long time, figuring out what shoes worked for me to get the most mileage.

Super Fast Trail Shoe

The fastest trail shoe I have ever used. First run in these and ran my fastest 1/2 Marathon time, even beating my road time! The fit was a bit snug on the normal width compared to other Brooks shoes I wear so went for the wide version which was perfect. Overall a brilliant shoe. I love it

Shoulda Killed These Not The Catamount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They’re ok. Way too hot for summer running in Utah and the stack is pretty high and a little unstable. Not a fan of the laces either. Way worse than the catamounts. Rip

Almost Exactly What I've Been Waiting For . . .

Great cushion, super comfortable, but the toe box is unfortunately too narrow and confining, so they have to go back. Just a bit of correction would make them perfect for me.
