Not Great On The Toes
Pretty disappointing shoe. I attempted a 50 miler in them and the toe pain I endured from having my toes slam into the front toe box of the shoes on the downhill made it so unbearable. It definitely contributed to me decided to DNF. My lesson is I should have tested these shoes above 30 miles, but didn't. Unfortunately, I would caution people against these shoes for long haul runs. Might just have to go back to the Catamount.

Disappointed In Poor Fit
My regular size is 11.5. Shoe was so big I could fit three fingers in the back. Reordered an 11.0 and it was too short. So size is definitely an issue. Really wanted a good waterproof shoe and I’m a Brooks regular customer for my walking shoe for the last 4 years.

Cascadia 18 Gtx 'Black' Not Very Attractive
The Brook's Cascadia 18 GTX 'Black' were even uglier than their picture. It wasn't just so much that they did not look good, they also did not feel like the same quality of the Brook's that I was replacing. That having been said, I returned them.
