Good Detector

I have been using this for about 3 weeks. It is a great detector, but I would not recommend for using on wet saltwater beaches as it will give a lot of false iron grunts. Dry sand is great. The pinpointed that came with it is not that great however, so I mostly use the pinpointed on the detector itself. Found objects to 10 inches deep. I have enjoyed using it.

It Worked As I Had Hoped..

I bought this in a pinch after I lost a brand new iPhone (in airplane mode) while working in the woods in 2 feet of snow. After searching for hours the previous day, I had the idea to use a metal detector. Having never used a metal detector, I bought it and assembled in my truck onsite and gave the instructions a quick read. Twenty minutes later, I found my phone encrusted 4" beneath packed snow. I wiped the snow/ice off it, warmed it up, and it lit up like the new device it is. When the snow melts I expect I'll have fun treasure hunting, although I feel it's already paid for itself.

Works

Found coins first time out really cool finding stuff others lost no gold yet but still detecting pin pointer not that strong upgrade pointer is a must and screen cup b nice

Would Like To Give It A Better Review

But it just isn't that easy to use. You have to keep it moving. so even if you are right over something that it detects it will not make noise because it has to detect difference between that spot and the spots next to it. I paid over $200 for this. I think to get something that works well you prob need to spend double that.

Can't Use On Beach

It is not made for wet sand. Therefore you can not use at the beach

Best For The Money So Far.

I used to metal detect at first years ago with a Fisher 1280x Aquanaut and found great stuff. I then spent more money and purchased a Minelab Excalibur. Both of these were waterproof and I wanted to scuba with them. I found a lot of great stuff. From junk to jewels. But I paid a lot for them. It was great to scuba with them but the cost was more filling tanks than finding the good stuff. So I used them on land and was happy. I sold them because I had found a few more hobbies and ran out of time. That was 7 years ago. I bought a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw Pro last week. I love it. I went back to places I have searched out before and still found more. I will definitely make my money back this year with with finds. Found a 1771 Danske Skilling 12 inches down on an old farm near where I was raised in Massachusetts. My oldest coin yet!!! Patience and a slow swing and tight pattern and you will find a lot. Junk and Gold!!!! Read up and watch videos. Do not just throw a battery in it and go. You will end up hating it.

Excellent Detector.

Within 15 minutes of using my new Bounty Hunter Quick Draw Pro, I found a silver earring on the beach and in the next 20 minutes lots of different coins ranging from pennies on up. The best way to get started is to test it with coins and you're own gold jewelry to get used to the different tones and remember to get permission if you're hunting on state beaches.

Not Easy To Use For The Price.

Many features with headphones and dagger locater for the price.Too complicated to use.I did not use it for 20 minutes.
