blackcrows '21-'22 Women's Camox Birdie All-Mountain Skis

About This Item

Product Description

The Camox Birdie women's skis from Black Crows are playful, versatile all-mountain skis. There's some obvious freestyle influence in their design as the skis use a twin tip, dual rockered shape with a progressive flex that gets softer as you reach the tips and tails. That shape and flex pattern allows for a lot of playfulness and even some significant capabilities as a park ski, but the ski performs just as well around the rest of the mountain too. It's not the stiffest, most powerful ski, but camber underfoot and the poplar wood core does retain some good stability and good edge grip too, especially for a twin tip ski that's this playful. The 97 mm waist width gives the ski a great feel in softer snow conditions, helping it to not get bogged down even in deeper, heavier conditions. On the other hand, it's not too wide, so it still feels pretty quick edge to edge and responsive to skier input.

Awesome Skis

I really love these skis. I feel like a better skier with them. They're lighter weight than my previous skis and seem to glide over new snow.

Best Skis Ever, Can't Stop Smilling On These!

Lightweight, playful, surfy. On the side edge, it says "I'll do anything you want" and they deliver. On these skis I feel like I can do anything and go anywhere. Perfect for soft snow and anything up to a foot of fresh powder. My daily go to choice for Jackson Hole.

All Mountain Beasts

I had been eyeing Black crows for 2 months and eventually got the camox birdies as a Christmas gift to myself. I am absolutely in love with them. I was debating between these or the captis birdie and ultimately chose these as they seemed like a better all mountain option. These skis let’s you rip and carve on the groomers, are great in the bumps and float pretty well in powder too. I’m 5’2 and went with the 162s, took a little bit of getting adjusted to but they are forgiving and definitely very sturdy skis. Once of the best decisions I’ve made!

Solid Ski

My girlfriend got these skis to replace her previous all-mountain skis. She loves them. They are noticeably better at charging through crud and generally more stable at high speeds than her previous skis. She's 5'4" and went with the 162s. She noticed they are harder to maneuver than her previous skis but they are also significantly longer so it could just take some getting used to. Great on-piste for the most part, especially in softer snow, but did feel some chatter on the icier stuff. She has yet to use them on a powder day but definitely looking forward to it!
