Like this new option but still wish the Momentum came with a haul loop as liked the comfy material on that one. This one at least has a back loop though it's thin.

This is my first harness and I wanted an all around one to fit any type of climbing I want to do. I barely feel it when I have all my gear and quickdraws attached to the harness and it fit nicely over any layers I decide to wear. I recently used it outdoors and for a lead climbing class and it feels very secure and comfortable on the climb. The only thing I would say is that lowering in the harness can be a bit uncomfotable for your inner thighs if you tend to have bigger thighs. There is less padding than other harnesses to allow for the lightweight comfortable fit. But overall it is a decent sacrifice for the overall functionality of the harness as a whole. I would definitely buy another.

I bought this harness to kind of be my all around harness. I like that it has ice clipper slots and is super lightweight. I also appreciate the fifth gear loop, as a dude who enjoys multipitch trad climbing! Now on to the issues I have with it. I wish the gear loops were bigger, to accommodate more gear. I like to be able to fit at least a full rack, .3-3, on each loop and I struggle to fit it all on these gear loops. The bigger issue I have with it after a few months of use is that the leg loops seems to roll up when I sit in the harness for a while. I appreciate that the harness is lightweight, but the lack of padding also means lack of structure/integrity in the leg loops which allows it to roll up the legs while weighting it. Other than the rolling, which is pretty painful, the harness is quite comfortable to climb in. It’s also worth noting that my belay loop is starting to show a significant amount of wear and I’ve only had the harness for 6 months. While I do use it regularly (at least 1-2x/week), I wasn’t expecting the belay loop to wear down so quickly. It’s an okay harness, but nothing to write home about, for sure. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a comfy all around harness.

So far it has been used mostly for indoor climbing with one week of outdoor clmbing. Plenty of gear loops, adjustability is good and the harness padding is comfortable.

I bought this harness back in 2018 prior to going ice climbing for the first time, I haven't found one I like nearly as much since. For a lightweight harness; it's well padded, durable, packs super small, has all the gear loops I need and I LOVE the fifth gear loop. When I'm trad or multi-pitch climbing I really appreciated that added organization. Detachable leg loops are also another thing I like about this harness, as I see a lot of lighter weight harnesses relying on elastic non-adjustable. The detachable feature gives more options for bathroom use and layering more comfortably when on longer/alpine style routes.

Great harness, very comfortable! Love that adjustable leg loops are put on a harness that's still lightweight and very packable. Material is much thinner than the baseline momentum harness- but still very comfortable. Sometimes feel that BD gear loops could be slightly more 3D and pop out a bit (sometimes end up clipping my shirt in with the gear because of space) but not a gripe at all. Still my favorite harness to date.

Harness is lightweight and comfortable! Like that it has clipper compatibility, can't wait for ice season :)

This harness is designed to be used for rock climbing or ice climbing, and as such does not absorb water. If you will be doing hanging belays or whipping a lot, you might want something with more padding. I find that padding gets stinky during gym sessions, and I hate when my harness is wet from sweat, so I use this as an all-around harness. The gear loops are adequate, the leg loops are adjustable. I wish it had two buckles to more easily center the tie-in point, but you can't have everything.

There isn't any one specific part of this harness that makes it so uncomfortable, it just is. It's too stiff and lacks good padding, it's stiff.. I just generally find it really unpleasant to wear.

This harness is great, super comfortable and easy to adjust, love the lightweight feel and pack-ability. I even trust it with my life.

I'm on my second technician harness. I lost some weight and the Medium I had originally bought became too big for me, so I bought a Small. So yeah, I love this harness SO much I bought the same one again. It is so comfortable. I really just love everything that BD makes. Love the color, fit, material, and craft of this harness. It really is well-made. I use it in the gym and at the crag. If you're considering this harness, send it! I bet you will love it too.

This is a great harness. I’m so glad I retired my old one and got this new one for my climbing trip at Joshua tree. Perfect for multipitch climbing and I love the adjustable leg loops.

Very comfortable and easy to use only criticism is that it is not long enough between the leg loops and the waist loop.

I purchased a harness along with some other products and unfortunately upon receiving them I found out that I had ordered a size too small for my harness. I was able to contact Black Diamond about a return, and they promptly responded. I was then able to get another harness in the right size, and it’s perfect!

Very comfortable, great combination of adjustability and lightweight.
