… you will actually wear it! I’ve had an old L/XL Half Dome helmet for a long time. I always knew it was big and clunky but recently found out that I can fit in a S/M. Got that size of the Vector and I love it. It feels like you’re wearing a hat, not a big ol helmet, which makes it easier to keep on all day. Not quite as light and comfy as the Vapor, but that’s why the Vapor costs more eh?

Great helmet design. Super lightweight, comfortable and breathable, and it offers all around protection to the sides and back of your head! It recently saved my life swinging 20 feet headfirst into a rock on the ground, came out with only a few scrapes. Always wear your helmet!!

This is my second Vector Helmet, my daughter inherited the old one that after more than 5 years of use and despinte plenty of dings still is in good working condition. It’s super light and even in hot weather you can barely feel it

I just picked up this helmet to take on a climb and initially was sold because it was great price. After wearing it all day I can say that it is super light, very comfortable, and adjusts easily. It also had enough ventilation to stay cool.

Bought this a few weeks ago to replace a Half Dome, and it rocks! I often forget I'm wearing it and end up driving home with it on, which is such a great characteristic for a (life saving) piece of equipment. Nothing fancy, just super light and comfy.

The helmet is light weight, it fits great, and has easily adjustable straps. For my occasional outdoor climbing use this helmet works great!

I borrowed this from a friend and decided that I had to get one of my own. It is perfect and lightweight amazing for canyoneering and long/slow multi-pitch climbs!

Bought this baby and I gotta say it fits great, light enough for long pitches and feel solid enough to protect your head from a bad hit. Truly great product by BD.

I've bought two of these. I use them for year round mountaineering and ski touring. I particularly like the quickly adjustable headband which allows secure fitting, typically with bandana + visor in hot weather, up to rain shell + buff + R1 hood + visor in cold. Light weight and good fit means I have worn this for a straight 21 hours with no discomfort, even once forgetting I had it on, and having to check it was still there. For information, the first helmet is now on light duty / semi-retired after a bad tumble down 300-400' of steep, firm avy runnel that delivered 3 or 4 solid whacks to my head (sides and back) hard enough to crack the molded foam. Without it I would have been totally hosed. I like this design enough that I wanted to keep using it, which is why I bought the second one.

Fits and looks snugger than most other helmets. Straps comfortable. Happy with the purchase. Haven’t had anything hit it yet so can’t comment on effectiveness.

You can forget you’re wearing it and it breathes well. It does dent easily but that’s the trade off for it being like a feather and still offering protection.

I bought oen for me and one for the Mrs. They work great,It's a helmet, what else does it need to do. Has a clip thing that hides as a part of the helmet to hold a headlamp if you need to. Comfortable and light. It seems to scrape up pretty easily though, at least on the matte black version.

Very light and not so bad looking helmet. Wife took a whipper on this the day after we received it and her head hit the wall and came out unscathed. Definitely recommend.

My recommendation shouldn't really be warranted for a product from Black Diamond and a product that has serious popularity. That being said, I'm joining the ranks of satisfied consumers. I have a bigger head and this helmet fits really well both front to back and side to side. The adjustable band in the band does a great job making the helmet feel secure on your head without creating any pinch points. All in all, an easy recommendation.
