Comfortable enough to enjoy around town and leisure hikes to the crag. Nice color.

My husband has a wide toe box and we were unsure how it will fit initially but they’ve quickly become one of his most comfortable pairs of shoes. The suede upper is soft but durable, and the style works well for both everyday wear and outdoor use. He’s been able to wear them for long periods without discomfort. He went up 1/2 size

BD really does the light approach shoe right. For me, it's the one you were to the crag or the gym, without the 5 mile approach, then I'm climbing 5. 8 foot jams. Maybe, I clip them to the harness with the amazing collapsing heel, maybe I'm clambering around to hang a TR, and then I don't have to take them off on the drive because they kill my feet. Bravo!

I couldn't be happier with my new shoes. Perfect fit and it is so comfortable, besides that is a great looking shoe. I totally recommend 100%

I got these for my partner who loves outdoor climbing and he really enjoys the slipable heal for easy in and out when switching from climbing to belaying. Wish there were more color options like a solid black or even a white, but over all love the shoe.

These shoes are awesome. I really liked the whole Session approach shoe line and wish they would come back.

Love these so much I bout 2 of the colors. I would have gotten a couple more but they were sold out. Highly recommend

I love the collapsible heel, easy on/off. The sizing fits just right, but which I'm always worried about when ordering stuff online. Real cozy. I should probably buy a second pair honestly.

I waited to review these until a year into wearing them. For the first few months I wore them only out to eat etc, but after a little while I began wearing them everyday as my main shoe - work, home, home work, dog walks... And wow. They literally look almost like they did the day I opened the box. Nothing has come apart, I have never once messed with the laces, and surprisingly this suede has only barely begun to show some color. I could probably get the them cleaned though. The back of the soles are getting a little thin, as to be expected. Very impressed with these shoes. My only one tiny "thing" is that I don't know what kind of walnuts these guys have been eating, cause these shoes are light gray with just a HINT of tan to it. But I wanted gray anyhow! Comfort level is appropriate for an approach shoe. These aren't running shoes, or work boots... they are around-town shoes and perfect comfort level for just that.
The Shoe
The shoe fits and looks great. Came in maybe a bit on the shorter side. I normally wear a 11 where other brands tend to be slightly long but this came in just at the minimum of what would work for me. The walnut is lighter than what the photos show on all sites but it still works. As expected, they probably don’t breathe as well as the knitted version but they will be much more durable. The slipper function is a fantastic feature. Brilliant idea. I would recommend these as an all purpose shoe. Look great from around town to yard work.

I bought these a few weeks ago. They're my new "go to" shoes. So comfortable. I will say that it felt weird at first because the neoprene heel made me feel like the shoe was wanting to come off. I was wrong.

These shoes are super comfy with the elastic heel and can be worn around town with a nicer outfit too. I find myself grabbing these on my way out the door more than any other shoe I own. Fit is true to size.
