This Hoody Is Incredibly Warm.

This hoody is incredibly warm. On a chilly windy 55 degree day it kept me super warm with only a T-shirt underneath. It fits well and the style/color is very nice! I would definitely recommend it so much so that I purchased one for a friend!

Black Diamond Factor Hoody Review (Black, S)

I am genuinely impressed with the Black Diamond Factor Hoody. It's noticeably thicker than the Coefficient Hoodie, yet it remains surprisingly lightweight with a good amount of stretch, making it both comfortable and functional. One of the standout features for me is the logo on the chest; it's stylish and adds a nice touch to the overall design. I've used this hoody as a mid-layer under my Black Diamond Access Hoody as well as under my Recon Insulated Jacket, and in both scenarios, it performed flawlessly, providing the perfect balance of warmth and breathability. Overall, it's a great jacket for layering, offering both style and performance. Highly recommended!

Right Gear For The Job

Great medium weight top. Fit is pretty true. I like the zippered pockets. Overall, I'm super happy with this Hoody

Great Material But Fitting Was Not.

First off, the quality of the fleece is great. Love the colors as well. However, fit is made for tall skinny dudes. I'm average build, 5'6. The fleece is long, pass my buttocks. If you're like 5'8 and above with long torso, this fleece is for you.. Bought the medium size and no way will I exchange for one size up because then the sleeve and everything else will be super long. This fleece is definitely between a slim and regular.

Just As Expected

Fit, fabric weight, and functionality was just as expected. I am 5'-8" 140lbs and the small fits perfect for an inner layer or close layer on warm days. Hood fits perfectly under a helmet. When the hood is worn without a helmet it turns with my head so I never feel like I am having my view cut off.

Great Layer

Great layer for skiing. I wear this over a wool base for backcountry. Good wind protection and breathable. Love that the hood fits comfortably under ski helmet.

Perfect Fit, Great Looks

I ordered the green version - really nice, fit is perfect - I am 6"2" 165 and I ordered a medium.

The Hood Is Important

I bought this hoody because I liked the configuration of the hood. I was not disappointed and am very pleased with what I consider a very technical piece.

Great Mid Layer

Recently purchased this on line. Piece is well made and has functioned well as a mid layer during the fall season here in Canada. Great fit, warmth and breath ability.

Light And Warm

Just took this hoody on a five day trip in Joshua Tree - it worked great as a light layer keeping me warm in the mornings and evenings, and was durable enough and cool enough to wear in the daytime on the rock. Hood works great with a helmet.

Just spent a week in RRG with this hoodie. Nice soft interior. Warm, and does a good job of keeping the wind out.

Favorite Fleece!

6’ 0” 170 lbs. and a medium fits great. Love this fleece. On the warmer end of the grid fleece spectrum.
