This is a reasonably large pad that carries gear easily. However, It is very thin and soft which makes it less than optimal for tall boulders. I got this on sale for 195 after tax and at that price point I would say that it's worth it but absolutely not at the retail price.

Solid Pad

very nice pad, a little firm out the box but softens up and becomes perfect after a few uses

Huge Landing Area, Hard To Store

This guy folds up "taco stye" which means there's no hinge that allows for easy storage. You either have to compress the foam and put it into a permanent "u-shape" that would be sub-optimal, or store it open which requires a lot of space (also not great) - otherwise, it's a great product!

Great Middle Range Pad

Looking for a pad that has technical aspects but not super pricey? This is your pad. I can add additional pads to tote to the boulder of the day, or stuff stuff into the fold and carry it as well. A bit tough to fold and close at first, but to me, that just means its keeping me safe when it is open and I fall. Looking for your first pad, this is a great option. Looking to add more security and protection to your other pads, look no further.

Good Pad, Tore After Only A Few Uses.

Its a solid crash pad. The canvas covering isn't super durable. The crash pad already had a tear after only a few uses. The backpack straps are good. The hip strap is pretty short and small, and only just fits around my hips, which aren't super wide. The pocket on it is nice. It is a pain to get the crash pad to stay closed. It's all around a good starter crash pad and a nice size.

This pad is great. The straps make it super convenient to pack in, and the mesh works well as make-shift pockets. I've taken this on all kinds of terrain, and it makes for a great landing.

Great Crash Pad Option

Very easy to carry, provides confidence when bouldering. Highly recommend for any beginner or advanced boulderer.

Crash Pad

I love this thing!! Me and a few of my friends all bought one and they’re perfect for bouldering days together. They also double nicely for a nap spot after a long day at the crag! ;)

Great Product!

Bought this product about a month ago and have used it 5 times now. Very nice pad, easy to transport and provides lots of protection on rocky surfaces.

Pretty Okay

This pad works well for shorter falls and is lightweight which is nice for schlepping around the boulderfield, but feels a bit more like an auxillary pad to round out beefier, thicker units. Seems a little expensive for how kind of flimsy it is.

the reason and only reason I really choose it because it looks really nice. but honestly folding it is not that easy and the the product itself is kind of pricy

Awesome Pad But Too Thin To Stand Alone

I bought this 2 months ago and began my outdoor bouldering experience. I love the extra surface area that this pad holds over almost every other mid sized pad. At 3.5 inches of foam, I would not want to fall from much more than 10 feet onto this pad alone. But it is amazing as a secondary pad that covers a lot of surface area and is super light to haul along. So if that is what you’re looking for, this is perfect! Also taco fold is awesome!

Lots Of Cushion, Needs A Fold

Great comfort for your falls or just relaxing, great support when hiking. The lack of a crease makes it tough to prepare. Overall def an A+.

No Center Fold And Padding Problems

Overall, I would not recommend this pad. Unfortunately, I’ve found that this pad not having a center fold makes it a total nuisance. The pad tends to stay folded like a taco even when you unfold it. Also, carrying it from place to place at the crag while grabbing it at both ends makes your forearms pumped before you even start the next climb. Finally, the padding for this pad is just too little. Landing on it alone from over 10 feet sketches me out.
