The hat is exactly like the picture, really cool, but it’s too big. This is made for someone with an extra large head in my opinion. I wore it twice so I can’t send back. Bummed!

only had this hat about a month but its definitely down for whatever you throw at it! Well made, Plus stylish and low profile. Just what I need for nice occasion's that I have can be worn thanks black diamond!

I bought this over a month ago and it has become one of 3 rotational hats. Great style to it and fits well. I got it because the logo wasn’t super bulky on the hat and it turns out to be perfect sizing. The only down side is a personal preference where I like bending the bill but this hat isn’t that type of hat.

Tried it on and sent it back. I’ve got a tiny head and this thing was too big. If you’ve got a normal to large size noggin, it’s gonna be good to sit on your dome. Wish they made a smaller size. Regardless, it’s a well made hat.

Love the hat! Love the low profile BD logo but just wanted to let potential buyers know the Carbon color is actually more navy vs grey which is what it looks like in the pic. Would have gone with black had i known 'carbon' was blue.

I was looking for a hat that would help to establish my intermountain west credentials in the Pacific Northwest, and I found it. Having relocated to Seattle from central Idaho to attend graduate school, I wanted a hat that would: Stay on my head, look cool, communicate to the world that I enjoy the mountains and that I ski. This hat does all of those things. Already, this hat is getting me noticed.For example, my wife commented on how I "like to wear hats that are not traditional style baseball caps." To which i said. "I know." My wife stated immediately after with "I like your new hat." WIN! Additionally, I recently went on a sailboat with some strangers, because some people do that here in Seattle, and I caught a couple of people looking at my hat as well. This hat will even stay on your head in windy conditions out on the water and make you look good. Looking good while sailing is either rule number 1 or 2. WIN! As I am in my mid 30s, I would consider my level of expertise in the hat purchasing/wearing field to be that of a professional. Furthermore, this camper hat is being worn at least once a day, almost every day. Bottomline is, the folks at Black Diamond nailed this one and I recommend it to anyone considering purchasing a hat. Don't be fooled by the name, it's not only for campers. Go and buy one today and see how it gets you noticed.
