Very lightweight, super comfortable pad. I take it on every adventure!

Too Delicate

Very warm, pretty lightweight... but so delicate. Even with a ground sheet and a clean tent, I have wound up with many tiny pinprick holes over the course of a few nights. I am bit tired of checking in the bathtub and patching.

Sleeping Like A Baby 👶

Finding a lightweight backpacking pad that provides actual comfort without sounding like a crinkly potato chip bag every time you toss and turn is rare. The Zoom UL delivers on both fronts. ​My top priority when shopping for a new pad was finding something that wasn't absurdly loud. My previous pad crinkled with every tiny movement, but the Zoom UL completely solved that issue. It lets me (and anyone sleeping in my tent) get a peaceful night's rest without all the noise. ​After 4 years of consistent use, this is hands-down the most comfortable sleeping pad I’ve ever owned. I switched to this pad from the Thermorest NeoAir that was more of a mummy sharp to get a comparable pad in a rectangular sharp. After spending a couple of nights on this pad I don't think I would ever go back. It was super comfortable, warm and I felt snuggled in.

Doesn’t hold air as well but super nice on cold nights.

No More Cold Feet

After struggling with temperature regulation in the sleeping bag, going with this pad has made all of the difference. Thought that maybe a new bag was needed but after this insulted pad up grade it’s been great. It sounds really crunchy while inflating but it’s actually a quiet pad once inflated. The low profile and weight is great for backpacking. All around a great pad and Big Agnes warranty always shines should an issue ever pop up.

Ul Insulated Sleeping Pad

This sleeping pad is extremely light and super comfortable!! I actually bought a second one for my wife! I would recommend this for anyone needing a sleeping pad for backpacking or whatever else you may need a sleeping pad for. This item is great for beginners and experts! Its insulation keeps you warm at night.

Suprised Comfort

I’m 6’2 225lbs. I bought the wide/long pad. This was my first inflatable sleep pad and was surprised at the comfort. I thought my hips/shoulders would still feel the ground but they don’t! Very comfortable. Packs down small and very light.

Light And Comfortable

Bought with Torchlight 20 degree and pairing is perfect. I was having issues with my arms on narrower pads and this pad would not fit into any of my previous Big Agnes sleeping bags without simple cutting inches off its functionality. Uses on a chilly but not freezing night at 12,100 feet first week of September and was more comfortable than I have ever been in a sleeping bag and on a sleeping pad. Very light weight, and with that it feels flimsy but I would be confident after use it wont easily puncture.

Comfortable for a backpacking mat, but this sounds like your sleeping on a bag of Doritos every time you roll over. I won't be bringing it on another backpacking trip because the noise prevents me from sleeping.

Seems great. Hasn’t been on trail with it yet, but I think it’ll be great for my needs. Light, thick, and has very sturdy seams. Only concern would be the valve system. It’s a little odd that to deflate, you have to use the tip of the cover, but honestly not a dealbreaker. Inflation sack is a bit heavier than it should be, but if you’re not a UL nerd, it should be just fine.

Perfect And Light

This sleeping pad has been wonderful, I've used it on every recent camping trip. It's extremely light, to the point where I don't even notice it in my pack while backpacking. It packs down to the size of my hand, then unfolds quickly into a super comfortable, insulated base. I was never cold even at 12,000 feet. Perfect for pretty much anyone, in my opinion, and I'd highly recommend the wider version.

I used this pad on a 4 day backpacking trip to Gannett Peak, it was lightweight and super comfortable especially after long days hiking.

Compact And Good Insulation

Not many pads pack this small. The insulation is pretty impressive too, I also used it sleeping on snow and ice, it proved to be enough.

Great Pad, Could Use A Better Valve

Overall a great pad. It is so comfortable and I felt like it was the right balance between weight and R value. I am bringing it on the Colorado Trail this summer. However, this spring while I have been playing around with it, I've noticed that it's quite difficult to get to deflate the entire way with the valve system that is in place. I feel like this would be a very easy fix to change the valve to something like the Sea to Summit Aeros pillow, where there are two levels to the valve. One for inflation and one for deflation. I anticipate being frustrated on my thru-hike with this pad's deflation in the mornings, but will still bring it. Even bought a FlexTail Zero Pump to try to make deflation easier. Still running into the same problem.
