Not as warm as I would have liked and the side zipper takes getting used to

Finally A Comfortable Sleeping Bag

Im a side sleeping and have struggled with mummy bags. This thing is incredibly comfortable and warm. I've got to use is a few times already and can't wait for the temps to drop.

A Great Choice For A Side Sleeper.

I have always twisted my bag around to keep the face opening correct. This bag works great for when I am on my side, and the pillow holder is a great addition. I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but it has worked out well for me. This is a good choice either starting out or upgrading from a lesser product. It is lightweight and packs down small, now that I am carrying a much smaller pack, this has been a good upgrade.

Totally A Side Sleeper

Love that I found a bag that lets me comfortably sleep on my side all night. Not necessarily a solution for everyone as my wife has pointed out it doesn't feel as comfortable when lying on your back. A great mid-range bag for someone looking to expand their options

Awesome Bag!!

I've used this bag for going on 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. I am predominantly a side sleeper and it works wonderfully. Super comfortable and it packs down really well. I've slept out in 20 degree weather and I was still comfortable (I sleep warm). I'm 6 2 and I have the long and I fit very well.

Calling All Side Sleepers

Great sleeping bag for side sleepers; not so great for those of us who roll around from belly to right side to back to…you get the point. My Sidewinder bag is extremely comfortable, warm & well made bag (albeit there are still some kinks with the zipper that BA needs to work through). Packs a little larger than I personally prefer for a down bag, but it's still good. Overall I like the bag, but it's just not going to be a go-to bag, so I ended up getting a Torchlight, which does allow me to roll around without feeling too restricted.

Comfortable

Comfortable for a side sleeper. If you have broad shoulders, go with the "long" size. You'll appreciate the extra space. Pillow Barn is handy.

Meh

I thought I would love this because I am a side sleeper. Unfortunately if you have to move or roll over or anything it sucks. Should have just bought a normal bag instead of the sidewinder.

Warm And Great Attention To Detail.

This sleeping bag has a silkier, smoother texture than I've ever seen before. Also, the no-snag zipper works great. Also, the side-sleeping orientation is amazing. It's warmer and my face isn't halfway in the hood all night. The weight is respectable for how warm it is.

I'm a side only sleeper and have been waiting for this bag my whole life... well, not the first 4-5 years of my life, but almost my whole life. Anyway, nice and light, really warm, feels great. I plan on getting a warm weather bag soon!

Best Bag Ever

I'm a bigger guy and the sidewinder fits me perfect. I got the best night sleep on a 30 degree night with the sack. It's warm, comfortable, and pack perfect in the backpack.

Near Perfection

I wanted to give this bag 5 and 10 but the fact is I prefer a flat sleeping position and not having my head fixed in a small area, or having to use a small camping pillow. As a side sleeper it performed as described and I used this out in the field sleeping under the stars for 5 nights in temps from low 50s to high 50s. I had no issues staying warm in the bare min. clothing and no extra gear needed.

This is the most comfortable bag I've ever owned, especially as a side sleeper!
