Feathers

Lightweight good bag, we did notice a few feathers. Very very warm, had to be used almost as a blanket at one point.

Super Lightweight And Warm

I love this bag. It is way lightweight and super warm. I've used this twice now, once in the desert in early spring on a backpacking trip and once around 8,000 feet in May, car camping. Both times were great and I'd recommend this setup to anyone beginner or expert.

Warm And Comfy On Chilly Nights

I slept in a hammock on an archery elk hunt in Sept and was very comfortable when the temps got down in the 30's. I did use a sleeping bad underneath to insulate further, great combo.

As a stomach sleeper this is the best sleeping bag I've ever had. When camping I typically wake up multiple times per night due to not being able to get comfortable. This bag had me sleeping through the night and kept me warm!

Great Lightweight Bag

Warm and lightweight bag. You can not go wrong if you're a side sleeper.

Very Warm And Comfortable

This bag is really warm. On my last trip, temps got into the low 40's and I slept with it unzipped down to my waist. I've used it down to about 28 degrees and been toasty. The pillow pocket is handy and my pillow seems to stay under my head even when I switch sides. My only complaints are that it leaks down and the zipper snags if I'm not careful. I'll have to see if the down issue persists after washing it.

Warm But Restrictive

I have had this bag for a few years, recently spent a night archery hunting in a surprise snow storm and a Bivy. The bag froze to the Bivy but I stayed warm, not just warm but cozy. My only gripe, and it is a huge gripe is that I'm an active sleeper and the design makes tossing and turning terrible. It's hard to rotate in the bag and if you do, the directional hood completely covers your face. If you always lay down and sleep on one side all night, it's probably great. If you don't, it's tough to overcome

Very warm and comfortable. Bag packs down well for backpacking and is great during fall huting season.

Warm comfortable sleeping bag that is great for side sleeping

Great Sleeping Bag Except...

Holy smokes does this bag shed feathers! I'm really hoping that it's just a new bag thing and eventually it stops. I'm getting tired of my tent looking like a chicken had a hay-day and picking feathers off my clothes every morning. Aside from the shedding, it's a cozy warm bag. I'm a side sleeper so I like the top zip style and double zipper. It's more compact and lighter than my previous bag, saving space and weight in my red bag.

Nice, Comfortable, And Warm Sleeping Bag

This is a warm and comfortable sleeping bag. I sleep on my side, and I love that this is designed for that. It is worth mentioning that this sleeping bag is quite big when packed into its stuff sack, but it still compresses a bit when it's in a backpack or pannier.

Bag sheds down feathers like no tomorrow. Even after washes. Doesn't feel as warm as it's rated to be.

Really Nice For Side Sleepers

I own the 2022 version. This is a good overall bag that has the added convenience of being designed for side sleepers. The main advantage of this design, in my opinion, is that you can toss and turn from side to side and the zipper is always accessible. It packs pretty small. I put it in my 14L Revelate Terrapin seat bag and can still fit a couple dinners, my Nanopuff, snacks, toiletries, and a few odds and ends. I've haven't had to push the temp limits of the bag, but it's been warm enough for me in high 30s weather. (I sleep cold and wear my medium weight wool base layers.) The Sidewinder does leak down more than any other down bag I've owned. But I think this is mostly annoying (down feathers in the tent) and hasn't significantly compromised the warmth of the bag.

Yes

The zipper did break right away but was repaired for a cost

This sleeping bag was incredible. Very warm and comfortable for a side sleeper. If you toss and turn a lot III is a little restrictive. Not more so than any other mummy style bag. The pillow pocket is a little gimmicky but effective. I think if you really know how you like to sleep this is a terrific bag. I wouldn't recommend it as a first sleeping bag purchase just because of its niche sleeping arrangement.
