A Little Heavier Than The Campmeister

We have both the Campmeister and the Rapide and we love the bumpers on the side. It's great that these come is many sizes, they pack small and give exceptional comfort for their weight.

Big Agnes - Great Sleep

Amazing product! It was incredibly easy to inflate and pack up. I used it for six days on the Nootka Trail and have nothing but rave reviews. I slept more comfortably than anyone else in our group! The inflation sack was a game changer and made setup incredibly quick and easy. I also had no concerns using it over rocky terrain, it proved to be extremely durable and held up beautifully throughout the trip.

Do It All Sleeping Pad

I’ve had this pad for a few years now and I can say with confidence it’s the most comfortable sleeping pad with a small form factor on the market, as well as having excellent insulation. This is the Swiss Army knife of sleeping pads

Sleeps Great!

I took this item on an alpine backpacking trip, and I couldn't be happier. It was lightweight and compact, easy to inflate (I timed less than three minutes with the included inflater bag), and very comfortable. I could comfortably side sleep on rocky ground without any pain. It was also easy to deflate and roll back up. I'm 5'2" and about 135 pounds. I didn't have any issues with size or noisiness.

I have a really hard time sleeping while out on trail, and while this sleeping pad is a little bit heavy (I got the wide regular pad), I slept GREAT on this pad. It is warm, comfortable and the taller side rails kept me from rolling off my pad. It's perfect for anyone who wants to be really comfortable and warm on trail. The sack to inflate the pad works well and it inflates fairly quickly. It also has a nice finish on it so it does not feel sticky like some sleeping pads. However, if you are concerned about weight, this probably is not your best option. I would absolutely recommend this for most people. For reference: I used this on a trip near Big Bear, CA - the nights got down into the 40s, so it was chilly but not freezing. I would not hesitate to take this pad on a late fall or early spring trip in Ohio/PA conditions.

Haven't had it for a super long time, but having borrowed and slept on most combinations of sleep systems I can say this is the one for me. No problems so far, I love the inflation system and how small I can get it packed down. It isn't overtly loud, and the heat holding capacity is a noticeable upgrade from the stuff I was borrowing. I would consider sleeping style when choosing between the regular/wide, I'm a side to back sleeper and felt the regular sized pad wasn't wide enough. Overall great buy!

This pad is great. Very comfortable and easy to use.

Survived A Week In The Florida Keys

My son and I participated in a boy scout high adventure this summer. Weight was of essence as we paddled to a remote 100 acre island off of the Florida keys and camped in the July heat for a week. Thankful for the thickness and support of the rapide. Without question would order again as compared to other pads I've used over the last two decades.

Very Comfortable

I had shoulder surgery and was in Marine infantry. I can no longer sleep on the ground as I once could. This allows me a comfortable nights sleep on any terrain. I did have to get the 25"x72" as I'm a side sleeper and the 20" is just too small. Your knees fall off the pad, very annoying. But the 25" is perfect. And it's super small rolled up. This will allow me many more years of camping.

Great For A Bigger Person

I have been backpacking for years and have always had issues with back and hip stiffness on my sleeping pads. I'm a larger person and a side sleeper. This pad has enough thickness and support to keep my hips and shoulders off the ground. I was recommended this sleeping pad while backpacking AK by a friend who was also experiencing back problems after an injury. This was the first purchase I made upon my return back to MD and will never sleep on anything else.

Perfect Weight To Comfort Ratio.

It’s not ultralight, but it’s really comfy. I’ll trade some pack weight for a good night’s sleep any day.

This pad proves to be really sturdy, I used it on a mountaineering trip climbing a 6000er in Afghanistan, been out 3 weeks in the wilderness. Slept on snow, ice, and rocks. The insulation is perfectly enough for backpacking and mountaineering.

Excellent Quality And Super Comfortable

This was my first experience with an inflatable sleeping pad, and I've been really impressed so far. It's super comfortable, and it stays fully inflated all night without any deflating. Inflation is a breeze thanks to the included plastic bag — no huffing and puffing required. The only minor challenge is squeezing it back down into its small storage bag, but that's a small trade-off for how compact it packs. I've now taken it on four camping trips with zero issues, and it's held up great every time.

Comfort Previously Unknown

This sleeping pad is a major improvement from my experiences with folding pads, but not a major weight gain. It’s lightweight and compact packaging, as well as quick and easy inflation allows for comfort after a long day on the trail with out the wait, or weight. As many inflatable pads do, the Rapide does make a little noise when shifting, but not nearly as bad as others and not enough to disturb those nearby. With its durability I hope to get many more nights out of this pad

I found it deflated more than expel after the first use overnight. set it up in my garage when I got home and 8 hours later it was pretty flat. Overall it was comfortable when laying on it.
