Wonderful Pad For Cold Weather (Tried In 26f Temp)

Been looking for an insulated pad for winter camping, I had gotten the Klymit Static insulated pad due to the price and good reviews however it was not the warmest and it was not comfortable at all. Returned it and went for this one thanks to a sale. The night I winter camped it dropped to about 26 degrees F and this pad kept me very warm from the ground and was very comfortable overall. The baffles of the pad were not as stiff which was my fear having tried other pads where the bigger baffles dig into your back, I did remove a tiny bit of air from the pad making it perfect for side sleeping.

Used the pad last weekend, about 10 days after it arrived, on an overnight camping trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains when temperatures dropped to 29F; stayed comfortable and warm despite being in a 30 degree sleeping bag. Just got done taking this pad backacking up Glacier Peak. Keeps you warm on cold ground, is very thick and comfy, easy to inflate and holds air well. A bit heavier than my pld nemo pad but overall it is still really light and compact. Can get a bit squeaky with movement, which is ita only real flaw. Would recommend for backpacking

Not Best Ba Pad

I own 3 other BA Air core pads. They all are great and comfortable. This one is comfortable, but it is bulky due to the extra insulation. It does not want to deflate no matter what you do. a task that should just take a few minutes to deflate and roll up takes 30 min. I will not be using this pad anytime soon.

Solid For The "Luxury" Backpacker

I bought this for my wife as she wanted something warmer (for winter trips), more comfortable, and quiet. We haven't officially used in the field yet, but I anticipate it being a quality product - I'll be sure to update if I feel differently as we'll be giving it a true test with multiple dogs in the tent.

Ok so have not used it in the field yet, but I have slept on it about ten times in the basement. It's is very comfy. I use the big Agnes lost dog 45 with it and honestly I sleep better then in my bed. I'm a bigger guy. 6 foot 1 and 300lb. Will be heading to Colorado for a camping trip end of May. Should work great.
