Awesome Pad, Inflation An Issue.

This pad is the most comfortable pad I've ever slept on. It is literally like a nice matress. It is also warm. However, I'm not not sure how it could self inflate to a firm state without the pumphouse ultra inflator. Using the pumphouse is relatively simple and took a couple of minutes, so not bad. I'm glad I purchased the pumphouse ultra at the same time. I think relying on self inflation could have been frustrating. I think they should just include the pumphouse with the pad. When fully inflated, it is an amazingly comfortable pad. It is also not very compact, but I expected it would be a little bulky. Great for car camping.

Home Bed Away From Home!

I received this almost a year ago but between moves and winter we hadn't had a chance to test it out. Now that we have, we are thrilled to own this! This past summer we used it at camp. Don't think this 'fully self inflates' - you should give it 5-10 more breaths once you've left it out to self-inflate. You can customize each side to your desired firmness. I would also suggest putting the air vents at the feet of your setup, vs the head, that way you can make adjustments in the middle of the night without disturbing anyone. From there ... WOW... so comfortable. Like sleeping in a regular mattress. Is it bulky? Of course. It's not a backpacking mattress. It's for car/tent camping, and for that purpose, I'm OK with the extra bulk. I would suggest wearing gloves with grip when rolling/folding it back up (you should already have some gloves at camp). It needs some man(person)-handling, that's for sure. From there it fits in the carry bag without issue. We also used it in our apartment during a recent move, and it was a relief to have such a great nights sleep on this mattress. Overall, we're definitely looking forward to sleeping well at camp for years to come! And one last thought - given my own car camping adventures and the trips I take with my wife, I wonder if getting 2 of the individual mattresses would have been a good move, that way I can have one to myself, but then together we can both sleep on our own... oh well!

Best Camping Upgrade Since The Invention Of The Tent!

Been a game changer! Definitely the most comfortable mattress out there! We got the 58x74 and will be looking to get another one to fit both in our BunkHouse 6! Takes a little bit to expend if you dont use it often, but you can simply inflate it if in a time crunch. Packing it away is not that hard as other reviews seem to say. Fold in half, compress using your body weight and start rolling. No need to be perfect, just to push as much air out, then close the valves and re-roll it nicely and re-open one of the valve to squeeze the remaining air out. close the valve and tie it up with the 2 Velcro straps. Fit nicely in the carry bag.

Imagine bringing your bed from a five star vacation resort camping with you. This is it.

Super comfortable and preferred if you move a lot when you sleep.

Verdict About The Comfort Of The Mattress Is Pending

I have not slept on mattress yet. Plan to use it for car camping. It is very difficult to fully inflate and does not do it on its own and not so easy to deflate.

Comfortable, But Difficult To Pack

Nice and comfortable, but can't get it into stuff sack that it comes with, and takes alot of effort to compress. Maybe best suited to leaving inflated in a camping rig

Great For Couples

It's big and obnoxious for backpacking, but amazing for car camping and nearby campsites. One of my favorite uses is putting it in my truck bed and camping out the back of my Toyota Tundra; it's perfect for couples who want to cuddle or sleep together. I primarily use it for couple trips, and go for lighter options when solo camping, but the quality is excellent, and it's amazingly comfortable.

Packing An Issue.

The mat as a mat is great. Thick, comfy foam, no need to reflate over 5 nights of use in cold. The problem is the valves specifically for deflating. That there is no flapper or anything to keep air from sucking in while trying to deflate makes it so difficult. I’ve used Exped and Nemo and did not have to work that hard to roll them small enough to pack.

Used camping myself (6’0 215lbs) and my wife ( 5’3 105 lbs) slept super comfy on this thing. It does not self inflate out of the box immediately!! Upon googling and reading some forums it takes a few uses for it to self inflate from factory. Highly recommend getting a pump of some kind to be able to inflate properly, otherwise you will be sleeping on just the foam pad. We used a pump to inflate and we slept better on this pad in a ground tent than we used to in our rooftop tent!

Most Comfortable Pad On The Market

If car camping is your jam you can’t go wrong with this product. The mattress self-inflates fairly well once you roll it out and it just needs a little top off of air to fully inflate. I just did three nights camping in the mountains and slept like a baby. I do recommend topping it off with some air every couple nights for best comfort. Otherwise, 9/10 very satisfied with the easy of use and comfort. My only downsize is the packability once you take it out of the carry bag (good luck getting it back in there) and storage when it’s not in use (i keep mine semi inflated and store under a bed).

Like Sleeping At Home

This is the most comfortable mattress my wife and I have used. We sleep just as well camping as we do at home. It can take a little bit of effort packing it back up and the pack size isn’t the smallest, but well worth it for car camping.

Comfy!

I backpack, but enjoy a bit of luxery when car camping. This thing is comfy. My husband's foamy is the only thing that beats it in comfort, but it's over twice as large for transport. I got the wide, and there's space for me and my 55 lb dog. It's a bit of a pain to roll up to a size that fits back into the bag. I've found it best to do 2 iterations of rolling it, one to get 95% of the air out, then one to get the last 5% + get it to size.

Super Comfortable

Comfortable, but we have to re-inflate everyday. I have to wrestle it into submission to make it fit in the storage bag. Great fun listening to my friend wrestle it though!

Very Comfortable

Very comfortable and durable, I've used it to camp with 2 people many times. It's pretty easy to inflate, as others have said it's kinda a pain to deflate and pack away but that's due to the comfortable foam in it. It's also very insulating from the ground which makes a big difference if it's cold at night.
