I've only had this for a month and have used it on two weekend trips. If you are an efficient packer, you really can use this bag for a weekend trip. It's a little smaller than I expected it to be, but incredibly well-designed, and kind of perfect for a two night trip. Seems durable, though we'll see how it holds up. The comments that others have made that the straps have a tendency to slip is true, but it hasn't really bothered me because they are also easy to adjust on the fly. I'm very pleased.
