Good Replacement For Quantum Gel 360
I'm flat-footed and needed a good replacement for Quantum Gel 360s. I do lots of outdoor walking for exercise along with indoor fitness (VR fitness like FitXR) with lots of rapid lateral movement. This shoe is well-adapted for both. The fit, stability, and comfort are excellent. The pronation is a good match to my very flat feet. Would buy again.

I’m comparing this shoe to its previous predecessor, the Kayano 31. I am on my feet A LOT. I stay on the treadmill for about 1-2hours four times a week, and I work twelve hours shifts 3-4 days a week. My first impression is the kayano 32 is tighter than the kayano 31, and my foot is rather skinny. It is extremely tight on my forefoot, even with the shoelaces loosened a lot. The tongue on the shoe is secured inside the shoe, so that is probably why it is tight. But I’m afraid if I cut it, I won’t be able to utilize the 1 year warranty if needed. I previously had issues with pain, numbness, and tinging in my toes and on the ball of my foot. As a result, I purposely ordered two sizes up for the space, but there is less space in the toe area in the kayano 32. The cushion feels nice under my feet, but I can tell it will take a couple of wears before it breaks in. I’m on the fence if I’m going to keep them, as the tightness of the shoe is bothersome, and the tongue is really tight.

Finally A Good Version Of The 32’s
Finally the gel kayano 32’s get a tongue and back foot loop to easily put your shoe on. Also I have noticed the past iterations of this is shoe (I’ve been getting 2 pairs a year for almost 5 years now because these have the best arch support for me) wore down VERY quickly which I’m not seeing with this one. Good job Asics
