Made for comfort in motion, this performance short offers four-way stretch, breathability, and is made with wicking fibers. The lightweight polyester is soft and comfortable, and the elastic waist uses a braid lock adjuster for a secure fit. Two hand pockets – one with an internal security pocket – are easy to access, and the ergonomic patterning frees you to move.

Great Short

Great shorts, super cut, very comfortable. Use the trousers for hiking.

Lightweight And Comfortable

These shorts fit true to size for Arc'teryx, which is always a positive. The material is super light weight and comfortable, and dries quickly. The length is perfect for me, as I have very long legs.The only drawback of these shorts is that it seems that the drawstring takes a lot of manipulation. I can see how someone might value that -- you know the shorts won't loosen as you move -- but for me, it's been annoying. That's the only reason this is 4 stars vs. 5.

Versatile Short

These are super comfy and technical BUT they are thigh gobblers.

Great Short

For those girls who have a tiny waist and a solid bum/thigh, these are your shorts!! I am usually an xs waist and anywhere between a S/M for my bottom. These shorts fit great and dont slip over your hips at all.

Great Shorts For Everything

I was looking for a good hiking short since there's times when I'm not in the mood to wear tight bike shorts. I knew I needed something with pockets and was long enough to not ride up when walking. These really fit the bill. I love the mesh pockets and especially the little zipper pocket inside of the right pocket for keys, chapstick, etc. I've even worn them for golfing and that little pocket is perfect for tees! The drawstring mechanism is really well engineered and the shorts never ride down, even when the pockets are full. My only complaint is the shorts sit up a little higher than I'd like them to on my waist, and since they're baggy shorts they kind of balloon out. I just roll the waistband down once and it fixes this issue for me, so I still love them.

New Favorite Shorts

I love these. Bought hoping for a cute and comfortable walking-around short, and they delivered. Super comfortable and versatile, huge pockets, really cute and flattering silhouette. I really like the low profile belt situation. These are my new everyday shorts!!!

Best Active/adventure Shorts!

Rare to find a pair of shorts that are comfortable and have the right coverage to climb in. They also have worked great for cross-training in the gym & on runs. And the waistband capture system is very clever too (great for those of us with built quads & glutes but smaller waist). Very happy to have these for summer, immediately ordered the other color too!
