Nice Shoes

The shoes are really comfortable! I love them! I tried them for a hike and I was really impressed!

Not For Weak Ankles

Wanted to love these shoes but I can't. Firstly, DO NOT WEAR IF YOU HAVE WEAK ANKLES!!! The stack height coupled with the soft soles means there's not a whole lot of stability. I rolled my ankle turning on my heel, while on on a flat surface indoors- wasn't even hiking. Secondly, they feel very tight in the sides after a while, painfully so. Lastly, after wearing them daily for three months I started to get wear points where the fabric began to rip on the sides. I'm disappointed because I like the design from an aesthetic viewpoint.

10/10

Very good hiking shoes! I love how comfortable they are, the design is perfect and combine with everything

Desperately Missing The Norvan Sl Shoe

When will Arcteryx bring back the Norvan SL shoe? This was my dream shoe, light weight, minimalist yet comfortable and protective. You could feel the ground but i felt good and connected. The shoe felt like an extension of your foot, a super grippy, stable foot. I used these for running, long distance hiking, anything that didn't require travel in snow basically. The norvan replacements don't work for my foot and feel big and clunky. Add new products for sure but please bring the SL shoe back as nothing compares in the current line and there is nothing else on the market I have found to replace it with. Thank you!

Awesome Light Weight Shoe

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have been exited to try the Norvan line since it was released but was torn buying yet another hike/trail run shoe so this was an amazing opportunity for me. The Norvan LD 4 has a nice toebox. I often run wide and these were fairly comfortable right out of the box and after a few wears they were great. I love that they have a full lace and a garage it really allows to fine tune the fit and keep the laces locked in. I took on Old rag and these had enough protection from rocks while alowing for good flexibility while scrambling. They handled a 10 mile hike like a charm. I have also worn them during several of my work shifts at about 10 miles a day with no issue. Although white is a hard color to keep clean these were easily wiped down and still look pretty great!

Great Daily Trail Shoe

The sizing definitely runs long. I am normally a US women's 8.5-9 and had to size down to an 8. I have a wide forefoot, high arch, and narrow heel. Given this, I find the toe box to be a bit narrow, putting pressure on my little toes and my heel feels a little loose. I replaced the insole with a Superfeet running insole which helped my arch and improved the heel slip. As far as feel, these are a little stiff, feel very responsive on the trail and have good protection to avoid stubbed toes. I have only 10 miles on them over 2 days and can see the toe box breaking in. The lacing system is amazing and I am able to loosen the area over the toes while keeping the arch snug. The tread seems to work well in loose gravel and rocks. For long distances, I would prefer more cushioning.

Best Purchase

These sneakers are life changing. They are completely waterproof , Super lightweight , and have great traction. I recommend them highly

Love The New Norvan Ld 4s

I’ve had two pairs of the previous version of this shoe, and I was absolutely obsessed with them. I honestly thought nothing could compare, but I was wrong. The Norvan 4s are just as comfortable—if not more so—than the 3s. The only slight downside is that they feel a little tighter than the previous version, so I did have to size up, but it’s a minor issue compared to the overall performance and comfort. Highly recommend!

Great Shoe For More Than Running.

A great shoe for full support and all terrains. I enjoy using this as a sturdy walking shoe and also a short distance trail run shoe - short distance being a personal preference. I've worn the shoe for probably 100+ miles and there are no tears or rips or strands of shoelace. It has held up extremely well.

Outstanding

These are my second pair of Norvans and I really find them very comfortable. Great for walking and hiking.

Comfort And Versatility!

I really love these shoes. Not only are they stylish, but versatile so you can pack them for a trip! I love walking around in these when I'm running errands or even when I hit the trails! I have issues with arch support, but I found these to be very comfortable :)

My Favorite Running Shoe

I’ve had a few pairs of Norvan shoes in the past that I really liked, but this new update is the best. I unfortunately don’t live near much off road terrain and end up using these a lot on pavement, but even for pavement, they’re quick, durable, and adapt well to road conditions. They’re also pretty grippy in snow and icy conditions. The shoe laces are a bit slick, but there’s a little pocket on the tongue of the shoe where you can tuck the laces to keep them tied and out of the way. One of the best aspects of these shoes is how washable they are. I have a light pair that I get pretty muddy and they clean right up with a run through the washer.

I Like 3 More Than 4

This new model feels heavier than 3, and the head of the shoes is tighter. Sometimes, I felt it pressed my feet and was uncomfortable if walking for a long time. However, GTX 3 is not on the shelf anymore. I also like the model 3's look better. This new colour has grey lines, not pure black in some way.
